Self portraits of my days in quarantine.
Probably one of my favorite pics ever.
April, 2020.
Black spiny-tailed iguana (Ctenosaura similis): Native to Mexico and Central America. Here, a male (left) and a female (right) are seen sunbathing on the Xunantunich Mayan ruin site in Belize, near the border with Guatemala.

Thank you very much for your time and for your faves!
(Just giving a fave is perfect if you like the photo, thank you!)
Common lizard basking in the sun. Have quite often seen them doing the foot lifting to keep their feet cool.
Laowa 100mm 2x Macro lens.
Taken in Norfolk.
The last light of the day painted west-facing formations in a variety of warm hues high above Wind Canyon in Theodore Roosevelt National Park's south unit as coyotes yipped and howled for evening roll-call. It's autumn in the badlands and the last remnants of early snows hang on in the perpetually shaded locations all about the region, a sure sign that winter would officially arrive soon. The days are much shorter and the sun hangs lower in the sky all day long. (11-18-2023)
A brown anole lounging in the sun in my grandparents' back yard. It looks moderately annoyed by my presence.
