There are at least four Summit Lakes in BC. This is the most northerly which lies at the highest point of the Alaska Highway at Mile 392. The west end of the lake drains to the west and the east end drains to the east. But the water from both sides eventually ends up in the Liard River and then into the Mackenzie down to the Arctic Ocean. Yes, it was windy. Taken July 21, 2008. A panorama of about 7 vertical shots.

Conway Summit, at an elevation of 8,143 feet, along Highway 395, offers one of the largest displays of autumn aspen color in the Sierra Nevada. This is a telephoto detail of the aspen color we found here, although not very sharp, as I had my telephoto set to image stabilization while on the tripod, but thought I would share anyway.

The South Carolina Chamber of Commerce, in partnership with the U.S. Chamber of Commerce and the University of South Carolina’s SC Cyber, hosted a cybersecurity summit aimed at helping small and mid-size businesses develop, evaluate, and strengthen their cybersecurity programs. Immedion was the presenting sponsor of the summit.
“We were excited to partner with the U.S. Chamber and the University of South Carolina’s SC Cyber on the summit,” said Chamber President and CEO Ted Pitts. “When our data is secure, businesses can grow.
