The NHS Values Summit brings together a diverse range of people and perspectives to create a greater understanding of how people’s differences, social status and cultural expectations can affect their experiences of health and care.
It challenges and inspires people to think about the role of ethical leadership in improving the health and wellbeing of local communities, staff and patients and how the NHS can increase the social value of its activities.
Welcoming representatives from health and social care, alongside more than 20 partners from the voluntary and community sector, this event (in Leeds, Yorkshire) was a template for future NHS Values Summits, which will be held twice a year in different locations across the country. Each event will explore a different theme relating to equality, health inequalities and human rights. The next gathering will take place in May 2013.
Out of my tent, a few paces to the field edge and this is my view to the slopes of Kirkfell and Great Gable, and just look at all those native stones that make up Wasdale's famous dry walls, they look so rounded and almost delicate, my guess is that most of them haven't come from the surrounding summits but have been washed in during the glacial retreat that carved out these valleys, but no matter what, Wasdale's walls are a man-made wonder, stuff the pretentious Brit Art tat of Damien Hurst and Tracey Emin, these walls are true art. Andy Goldsworthy can see it, his Stormking can be seen at:

We did our first Celebrity cruise aboard Summit to Bermuda.
We really liked the shopping area on the ship which contained several shops. Summit actually had an Apple store aboard. Prices were the same as on land based stores but here there was no sales tax.
At almost 2.5 million square feet or slightly more than 57 acres, this is Westmount's largest park. It is carefully preserved urban woodland, with pathways meandering throughout. Wild birds and animals make this their haven, finding natural habitats in this tiny corner of the big city. Westmount, Quebec.

The Arts Summit brings Delaware’s arts community together for a day of speakers, workshops, performances and networking. It’s about skill building as well as expanding contacts and enjoying the arts.
In 2019, the Division of the Arts and the State Arts Council celebrated 50 years of bringing the arts to life in Delaware. As we look back over the decades and recognize our accomplishments as a state agency, we confirm our dedication to cultivating and supporting the arts to enhance the quality of life for all Delawareans.
