Summer seems to be in its full form here, the sunset moments are the only daytime we can go out and enjoy the weather.

📹 The longing for a peaceful, calm, serene moment in the urban life... that's been the theme of the new video I created a few days ago. It turned out to be a bit poetic and different, hope you'd take a look here: youtu.be/hVDHRCc6irM

A little Miikweed (Asclepias syriaca) at the edge of one of our plots at the community gardens. Waiting for a Monarch to stop by. One of those perfect moments in the gardens. Happy Fence Friday, my friends.

From the same majestic clouds day, sunset sky in its own simple way.

Have a beautiful weekend all!

So Taylor Swift arrived in Sydney at 1.25pm today by private jet.

Flight VJ993. The most tracked flight on Flightradar, lol.

And so here is a Sydney summer sunset for Taylor. Photographed from Cremorne Point, exactly where her weekend harbour cruise will undoubtedly take her!!

And I am now officially poorer than ever before, with Miss 16 and Miss 18 all set for Sunday's epic Taylor Swift concert at the Sydney Olympic Stadium (Accor Stadium), with tickets costing a stupidly ridiculous $379.90(AUS) each for A Reserve.

No flat white coffees and lemon tarts for me for six months - at least.

But no doubt I will 'Shake it Off'. And so here's Taylor Swift with her iconic song 'Shake if Off', lol.

I am now going to get a plain bread roll and water from Aldi.

Clouds are such lovely creation, aren't they? Also, the light of the sun reflecting on them and creating colours and different moods, sometimes just like an art that makes you believe the Creator is the greatest artist...

I simply get lost in them. Summer sunsets are amazing!

While this is the more clean version of the photo, it doesn't show the full glory of the sunset that day.

In the comments below, I posted the photo that showcases the full glory of the sunset.

Vista del campanario de la iglesia de Grandoso, pueblo en la montaña de León, durante la puesta de sol.

As it usually happens, I go out with a purpose, and I end up photographing something totally different.

I went out to take some pictures of the rabbits around my neighboorhoud, but then I saw this.... and well.... rabbits would have to wait for the next session.

I don´t usually photograph landscapes with a telephoto lens, but I think in this case it worked well.

Wishing Each Of You, A Tree-Mendously Wonderful Day

Much like the glorious few seconds where the sun peeks out from behind El Capitan and illuminates the whole of Yosemite Valley, throwing long shadows into the trees, shafts of golden light onto the mountains, and making the very air glitter with tremendous beauty, the season of summer goes quickly. It ended for me, today, as I headed back to school and my classroom and began the work of meetings and planning for a whole new year. That's what makes summer special- it does not last, you have to enjoy it when it shines on you, and you have to make it memorable. That's what this picture is. That's what this summer was. This summer was one of the best of my life and I'm grateful for it because it included wonderful views like this and wonderful people that I love. I am struggling HARD with the fact that these few months are wrapping up... but given how shining and wonderful they were, I will just have to rely on the promise of a new season and a new sunrise to bring more good times and more good memories in summers to come. Here's to that season and to this season.

Wishing you all a Merry Christmas and a safe, healthy and prosperous 2023.

We are spending Christmas with family in the southern Riverina of NSW. It is very hot and will reach 37° C today and we are expecting 39° tomorrow and 40° on Tuesday so summer has well and truly arrived! Thankfully it is not very humid.

we will be back next year

As the sky turned into dreams above the ocean,

and the spectators long waited for it to turn that;

it became THE ONE moment.

🌅 we went out sea shoring sunsetting with friends - and had some snacks and gossips on life and partnerships and direction - and how we'd adore med from near the ocean, away from the chaotic city lives and sadness and troubles of the humans.

how are you, friends? sending December greetings, and wishes 💕

if life is giving you lemons, take a deep breathe, take it slow, and breathe and talk it out. sending good-luck-charms back to all. ☘️🍀

regarding last post, couldn't get back to you all - but I'd, slow by slow.

The sun playing hide and seek and clouds helping it hide and letting you know the sun's just behind the cloud at the same time. This is the best hide and seek, I'd say ;)

Just before the end of the day, an amazing sunset from the Almighty for enjoying, loved it a lot.

Copper colored sky, smoky air.

One thing that I miss in Finland during the summer, is the sunsets...

We can see sunsets in Helsinki, but very late.....

So yesterday I decided to do some late shooting, and try to catch some of the golden hour and sunset colors.

It was worth it

As the sun went over the horizon the clouds suddenly started to reflect its glorious fading rays. I wasn't set up for this photo, so ran inside and grabbed the camera for a quick shot. Just as quickly as it came it was gone.

Clouds few days ago. Love the sunset moments in summer, Sub Han Allah (Glory to the Creator). There's a lot of looks among the clouds to be fascinated by.

📚 I have been rereading Sherlock Holmes and recently burrowed Wuthering Heights by Emily Bronte for a read. Anyone knows good classic novels? Drop a name so I could try!
