2nd August 2022,the stunning sunset over Wolverhampton gave us these amazing colours reflecting of the clouds
Taken in the last few days of Summer 2021 at Amroth, South Wales from promenade outside the New Inn whilst on holiday there.
Some beautiful colours reflecting on a calm sea.

We had a very humid and at times stormy day yesterday here in Melbourne. I thought that the sunset and twilight would be interesting and I was not wrong. I took quite a few shots of the setting summer sun and in this one the juxtaposition of the setting sun and that particular cloud formation created the impression of a large blaze on the horizon.

I really couldn't resist sharing the second photo. The colours and the mood do have changed, you can see, right? So I told myself it's a completely different photo and the two are not the same 😅
I do miss enjoying the changing colour of the sunset skies. I remember capturing photos after photos as a kid - just in case I don't miss any moment - and creating a pile of them which later would make me regret as I couldn't choose which one to choose and which to erase. I had a pile of magical masterpiece moments but they all are dead with the old laptop.
The one who named the moment 'golden hour' was so right in doing so, it really is an hour so golden; and precious too.
(Shall I call this one 'golden enchantment'? ;))
PS. Today the sky had soft pink & violet clouds, but I didn't capture any photo. Simply spent some time enjoying them passing by fast and changing into more greyish blue, though not being able to get absorbed in the moment with the studies for tomorrow's regular tests in mind. Yet I was there, for I made a prayer yesterday, and I knew it was heard...

This spectacular sky (which also features in my previous post) was at sunset just as a cool change was rolling into the countryside after an extremely hot day.
Summer sunset(sooc). Sorry friends. The sweltering summer, interspersed with monsoon rain, has put me out of action for more than a week. Hope to bounce back very soon.

I did stand in the balcony for quite a long time to absorb all the beauties that day had to offer in silence and prayed with gratitude for the enormous gift, until the natural sunset lights almost faded and the city lights started appearing everywhere like breaking the silence in a very solemn moment.
I kept repeating dhikr in my heart- "Subhan-Allahi wa bihamdihi, Subhan-Allah-il-Azim" (Subhan-Allahi wa bihamdihi, Subhan-Allah-il-Azim" (Glory be to Allah and His is the praise, (and) Allah, the Greatest is free from imperfection); almost like a reflex, and with the feeling as if the whole world had paused for the moment.
I went back to my old childhood days - the first days of falling in love with the beauties of the creations; where sunset skies were perhaps the most inspiratory of all other nature elements I was attentive to - the days when I used to enjoy the enchantments every day standing on the rooftop with the whole sky above me and wondering with fascination how much beauties can this little world within the great universe out there hold. The days were good; sweet and good ❤️
PS. I finished my journey with 'The Hobbit' and it kind of left an unexpressable heartache inside me. It was a great adventure, after all.
A hot summer day is coming to an end, the colors are intense and the reflected light of the sun on the asphalt underlines the heat of the month of July in a sultry London.

it was a very hot and muggy day today in Griffith following some quite substantial rain over the last few days (although nothing compared to Sydney and the East Coast) as well as thunderstorms today. This sort of weather produces some of the most spectacular cloud formations and, combined with a sunset, they can be stunning. This little beauty seeming to hover over the house across the road, was one such.

The clouds of the golden hour are so surprising sometimes, aren't they? Brings change in every day life, smile on face- if you are looking at it.
The clouds were particularly eye-catching during this sunset and in one area they appeared in lines, like striations on a rock.

Summer evening sunlight coming through the trees and reflecting on Paradise Pond. A perfect Summer evening on the pond with bull frogs croaking their mating songs from one end of the pond to the other, the Merganser Duck family out for an evening swim, fireflies lighting up the island and the fallen flowers from the Catalpa trees slowly floating by. :)
