Summer gold.
Brachyglottis Sunshine.
An evergreen shrub, silver, ovate leaves with furry undersides. Yellow daisy-like flowers emerge in the Summer-Autumn.
Summer pictures are scarse for me, because the light of the season is flat, and the temperatures dictates me to not go anywhere or die from heat. But I go anyway. I shoot and bring home some pictures. Then I delete 99% of them. Except this one, it was allright. Not a masterpiece, no strong focuspoint, no atmosphere perspective, only a bit of morning golden light. So be it.

The summer carnival beside the river at Tuncurry.

A location I have visited on many occasions over the years. My mother retired to this idyllic coastal location of Forster-Tuncurry, and I regularly road-trip the children up here from Sydney for their summer holidays.
And this is our carnival of choice in the evenings, after long days at the beach.
