The most successful Lunarian infantry weapon. The first model was introduced in 1950, even before the M14 was invented.

The 'SK-50' is a gas-operated, rotating bolt battle carbine using powerful 8.25x56 Galleria ammunition in 20 rounds box magazine. This weapon fires in semi-automatic system with effective range at 480 meters without optics attachment, making this weapon well suited for mid-to-long range combat.

The SK-50 is commonly used by the Lunari Dominion infantrymen during the Great Lunar-Terra War in 2032. Because of it's reliability and easily to reproduce, this carbine became the longest service weapon issued in the Lunarian Army. Although by the 21st century, the SK-55 might be obsolete in this time but it still remained effective in modern combat.

Eurasian Collared-Doves made their way to North America via the Bahamas, where several birds escaped from a pet shop during a mid-1970s burglary; the shop owner then released the rest of the flock of approximately 50 doves. Others were set free on the island of Guadeloupe when a volcano threatened eruption. From these two sites the birds likely spread to Florida, and now occur over most of North America

A successful dive to catch a trout.

it was so foggy this a.m., when I headed out back for my walk.

As I was coming down the path, heading toward the soccer field, I must have frightened this fox in the little patch of woods to my left. I caught his movement out of the corner of my eye, and saw him take off. I knew he'd cut across the path in front of me,to get back to the main woods on the right so I quickly tried to focus on the opening ahead of me.

Sure enough, he came jetting past....two clicks and he was gone. Obviously I had interrupted his breakfast.

One of two 917/30s used by Team Penske during the 1973 Can-Am Challenge, chassis 003 was the most successful. It was driven by Mark Donohue to victories at Mid-Ohio, Road America, Edmonton, Laguna Seca and Riverside.

The 917/30 was dusted off for high speed trials at Talladega where Donohue set a closed circuit record of 211.160 mph on August 9th, 1975.

Among the many successful businesses in Eudunda was Wiesner and Company, timber and hardware merchant. Their impressive warehouse and store still remains in the town.

The Wiesner family started a blacksmith and foundry business in Eudunda in 1884 which eventually employed 50 people. In 1905 they sold that business and opened the iron mongers and furniture store in large two storey premises to which they added. It became the largest hardware and furniture store outside of Adelaide. It sold everything from pianos, china, glassware and silver cutlery to iron, nails, tools and timber and sewing machines.

Johannes Wiesner and his son Adolph ran the business until it was sold in 1951 but they had downsized it in 1945 when they sold part of the warehouse to the Masonic Lodge.

Interestingly Adolph married an English girl Mary Cranston and he became a Methodist and his grandson became a Methodist Minister. [Ref: A Future Unlived]

Eudunda is a quiet town in the Mid North of South Australia.

Notably it is an historic German settlement.

Eudunda came into existence as an important watering hole for cattle and horses which were being overlanded to South Australia from western Queensland in the late 19th century. Their destination was Kapunda, at that time effectively owned by Sir Sidney Kidman.

Eudunda was the birthplace of the educationalist and novelist Colin Thiele who achieved fame with his hugely successful books, Storm Boy, Blue Fin and Sun On The Stubble.

Thiele’s presence is evidenced by the silhouette of one of his characters, ‘Gustav” and his kelpie dog.

People say it is a successful trip to the mountains if you can catch one day of good light during a week’s stay. That day came on Day 3 of our Glacier National Park boot camp with attendees Alan and Aaron.

After spending a seemingly interminable night mostly in the parking lot of Logan Pass due to night time road closures, we managed to get over an hour of sleep in our cabin before setting out to our sunrise location. Two hours before sunrise, the sky was mostly cloudy with a few small openings. The sunrise conditions were looking promising. Fast forward to thirty minutes prior to sunrise, the clouds moved swiftly and mostly cleared out of the area leaving behind crystal clear skies. Having been skunked the past two days, we were on the verge of getting demoralized watching the clouds evaporate before our eyes. However, sometimes, a little patience and faith are needed to capture the light.

Mother Nature gave us a glimmer of hope as the leading edge of a storm approached from the west. They seemed too distant to reach us by sunrise time. To our luck the clouds moved and they poured over the scene within 15 minutes. Just like that the scene went from being monotonous clear blue to dramatic and textured. Moments later, the sun rose above the clouds on the horizon and lit the scene with beautiful dynamic warm light. Though not the pinks and reds of fiery sunrises, I really enjoyed seeing the warm golden yellow light burst from the horizon and illuminating the mountains. Upon seeing this light, we were practically jumping with joy. Our excitement got the better of us until our encounter…

In the midst of all the shooting and being glued to the backs of our viewfinders, Aaron noticed something moving in the distance and all of a sudden yelled out “holy sh*t!” A young adult grizzly bear popped its head up from behind the tree trunks for a look. Realizing who we were, the bear was stunned and quickly galloped across the slope not 40 feet in front of us! Perhaps it was a bit too much action for so early in the morning.

Stay tuned for more to come.

PS – The grizzly bear head is visible in the background of the photo.

Canada Geese are extremely successful at living in human-altered areas, they have proven able to establish breeding colonies in urban and cultivated areas, which provide food and few natural predators, and are well known as a common park species. Their success has led to them often being considered a pest species, because of their depredation of crops and issues with their noise, droppings, aggressive territorial behavior, and habit of begging for food (caused by human hand feeding)

Hello Not Founders,

It’s time to take a trip down memory lane as I reflect on the early beginnings of Not Found. When I first embarked on this venture, I didn’t even know what name to introduce my products with, and thus, Not Found was born.

Even though it all started as an experiment (and the name as a joke lol), it has become a staple in your inventories. I cannot be more thankful for the support you have given my brand since 2017.

It began with me trying to make a little extra as an SL photographer. I learned so much that I decided to try my hand at creating skins. I wasn’t alone in this endeavor and have many to thank: Marco from Clef de Peau for allowing me to use his male tones, Uma from The Skinnery for allowing me to use her female tones, and Dave from Volkstone for his body skin template, which I used to create my first male body skin.

On March 27th, I announced that the male body was receiving a much-needed update. I wanted to offer something on par with the Hera body line, our new female body skin, and thus, Zeus was born. This project has taken months and many sleepless nights. Remember, Rome wasn’t built in a day, and neither was this new body.

Today, I am happy to announce that the wait is finally over. Zeus is now available to NEW and CURRENT customers, offering the quality you have grown to love. The most realistic and versatile body skin is here to enhance your inventory.

The best news? If you own the 2.0 Male Body skin, the upgrade is COMPLETELY free. Simply visit our main store and perform a re-delivery. This is my way of thanking you for helping Not Found achieve the success I never imagined possible from this tiny experiment seven years ago.

Now for the fun part, we have teamed up with an amazing group to make this release even more successful. Please help me thank the following creators who have each crafted something stunning to help us introduce Zeus:

The Skinnery

Tableau Vivant

For a number of years I've dropped by Hardy Falls in the Okanagan in the hopes of seeing an American Dipper. Finally, success! We got a brief, yet entertaining glimpse of this cool aquatic songbird. I hope to see it again someday!

Engineers successfully fired a 2-foot-diameter, subscale solid rocket booster June 1, 2022, at NASA's Marshall Space Flight Center in Huntsville, Alabama. The test, conducted in Marshall’s East Test Area, produced 92,000 pounds of thrust and was done as part of the booster obsolescence and life extension (BOLE) program, providing an upgraded booster design for the evolved configuration of the Space Launch System (SLS) rocket for Artemis IX and beyond. The BOLE booster will be a larger and more powerful solid rocket motor to make the SLS rocket capable of sending heavier payloads to the Moon and beyond.

Bergara managed Stockport County from 1989 to 1995 and led The Hatters through their most successful period. He was also the first non-British manager to lead an English team out at Wembley when County reached the final of the Autoglass Trophy in 1992.

As well as this fans' tribute, the main stand at Edgeley Park is named after him and the club permanently flies the Uruguayan flag in his honour.

California is a state in the Western Region of the United States that lies on the Pacific Coast. It borders Oregon to the north, Nevada and Arizona to the east, and shares an international border with the Mexican state of Baja California to the south. With over 39 million residents across an area of 163,696 square miles (423,970 km2), it is the most populous U.S. state, the third-largest by area, and most populated subnational entity in North America.

Prior to European colonization, California was one of the most culturally and linguistically diverse areas in pre-Columbian North America. European exploration in the 16th and 17th centuries led to the colonization by the Spanish Empire. The area became a part of Mexico in 1821, following its successful war for independence, but was ceded to the United States in 1848 after the Mexican–American War. The California gold rush started in 1848 and led to social and demographic changes, including depopulation of Indigenous tribes. The western portion of Alta California was then organized and admitted as the 31st state in 1850, as a free state, following the Compromise of 1850.

The Greater Los Angeles and San Francisco Bay areas are the nation's second- and fifth-most populous urban regions, with 19 million and 10 million residents respectively. Los Angeles is the state's most populous city and the nation's second-most; California's capital is Sacramento. Part of the Californias region of North America, the state's diverse geography ranges from the Pacific Coast and metropolitan areas in the west to the Sierra Nevada mountains in the east, and from the redwood and Douglas fir forests in the northwest to the Mojave Desert in the southeast. Two-thirds of the nation's earthquake risk lies in California. The Central Valley, a fertile agricultural area, dominates the state's center. The large size of the state results in climates that vary from moist temperate rainforest in the north to arid desert in the interior, as well as snowy alpine in the mountains. Droughts and wildfires are an ongoing issue, while simultaneously, atmospheric rivers are turning increasingly prevalent and leading to intense flooding events—especially in the winter.

California has the nation's largest economy with a gross state product of $4.132 trillion as of Q3 2024. It is the world's largest sub-national economy, and would by most estimations rank 5th globally by nominal GDP. The state also leads the nation in agricultural output, led by its production of dairy, almonds, and grapes. With the busiest port in the country (Los Angeles), California plays a pivotal role in the global supply chain, hauling in about 40% of goods imported to the US. Notable contributions to popular culture, ranging from entertainment, sports, music, and fashion, have their origins in California. California is the home of Hollywood, the oldest and one of the largest film industries in the world, profoundly influencing global entertainment. The San Francisco Bay and the Greater Los Angeles areas are seen as the centers of the global technology and U.S. film industries, respectively.

Built in High Victorian style in 1878 for successful gold miner Robert Wright, Billilla mansion was originally a thirteen room mansion erected on seven and a half acres of land.

When economic boom turned to bust in the 1880s, the property was purchased in 1888 by wealthy New South Wales pastoralist William Weatherly who named it Billilla after his land holdings and established a home there for his wife Jeannie and their children Violet, Gladys and Lionel.

The house was substantially altered by architect Walter Richmond Butler in 1907, extending the house beyond its original thirteen rooms and adding the Art Nouveau façade seen today.

After William Weatherly's death in 1914, his wife, who was much younger, remained living there until her own death in 1933. She bequeathed the property to her daughter, Violet, who maintained the home with reduced staff until her own death in 1972.

The property was purchased in 1973 by the Bayside Council who subsequently used Billilla as a historical house with guided tours, a wedding and events venue, a school and finally in 2009 as an artist's precinct in the property's outbuildings. Billilla is a beautiful heritage property retaining many of its original features thanks to its long private ownership still incorporating a stately formal garden and the magnificent historic house.

Billilla, at 26 Halifax Street, Brighton, is one of Melbourne’s few remaining significant homesteads, built on land which had originally been owned by Nicholas Were. The house has a mixture of architectural styles, featuring a Victorian design with Art Nouveau features and has exquisite formal gardens, which retain much of their original Nineteenth Century layout.

Billilla retains many original Victorian elements and a number of outbuildings still stand to the rear of the property including the butler’s quarters, dairy, meat house, stable garden store and coach house.

Billilla was opened to the general public as part of the Melbourne Open House weekend 2022.

Billilla was used as a backdrop in the 1980 Australian Channel 10 miniseries adaptation of Sumner Locke Elliott's "Water Under the Bridge". It was used at the Sydney harbourside home of Luigi, Honor and Carrie Mazzini.

I had seen this dress at the Boscov's in Butler Pa and fell in love with it but they didn't have it in my size. I tried ordering it at the Boscov's close to my home but they didn't have my size there either and couldn't order it from another store for me. I took a chance and drove to the Boscov's in Warren Ohio and amazingly they had it in my size. I'll be wearing it out Saturday and taking more pictures then.

I not really catty! I'm just acting that way! ...Successfully too, I might add! [Giggle!]

I still do have this "thing" about tight, shiny ensembles and this catsuit, corset & thigh boots combo looks and- even better- feels absolutely delicious!

RD21520C. Great Western Steam Railmotor No. 93 at the Didcot Railway Centre.

This unique vehicle was originally built in 1908, but converted to an unpowered auto-trailer in 1935. The Great Western Society have therefore had to have a new boiler and power bogie manufactured as well as re-building the rest of the vehicle.

Although a major undertaking, this was successfully completed in 2013 and the result is a credit to all those involved in its return to steam.

I also took some video starring the amazing Steam Railmotor while I was at Didcot and this is now on YouTube. To make viewing easier, I have broken it down into three bite-sized chunks and here are the links:

I don't know if the park's creators imagined that the idea would be so successful. Today the High Line is already a mainstream tourist attraction. And it is, without a doubt, the best introduction to the charm of Downtown for those who only imagined that Times Square and Central Park New York existed.

This spotted feline is indeed a thrill to watch on the savannah plains of East Africa.

Having outpaced a Thompson's Gazelle with speeds close to 100 Km per hour, the Cheetah rests for a while catching it's breath before it starts feeding. It is never at ease close to it's kill, as being the smallest in size it normally looses the prey to Hyena's, Lions and Leopards.

Female Cheetah photographed on a kill in Maasai Mara Game Reserve, Kenya.

This moc was initially intended to be a batmobile moc, it wasn't successful and turned out having the shape of a Le Mans race car, so here it is! Before completing this moc, I hadn't think of using Speed Champs wheels, thankfully that crossed my mind before completion. It's also able to fit a minifigure with a helmet inside.

Downside to this is it's missing some stickers and a better colour scheme. My inability to make the F-duct fits onto this also makes this less of a modern day Le Mans race car, however personally I don't think F-duct is a pretty thing on a race car, especially in Formula 1.

This was submitted to Lego Ideas in May'17 but it's clearly not going to get enough support, but hey there is no harm trying :

This lovely bumble bee fell onto my sons arm in the garden yesterday and was obviously distressed probably because awaking from it's hibernation and not having food. I dissolved sugar with a little warm water and fed it.You can see it's proboscis taking up the syrup from the wall where I put him/her.After a good feed and 20 minutes warming up in the sunshine it was off! Mission accomplished!
