Petites fleurs d'1 a 2cm
Le chrysanthème est introduit en France au XVIIIe siècle et rencontre un succès immédiat. Surnommé « la fleur d’or », il est alors le symbole de l’honneur et de l’empire au Japon, tandis que les Européens du Nord en font un atout indispensable des cérémonies de mariage. Dans cet élan de positivité et de prospérité, les botanistes vont créer, au fil des décennies, des centaines d’hybrides. Jusqu’au début du XXe siècle, où le destin du chrysanthème, influencé par les tourments de l’Histoire, bascule.
Automne 1918. A la fin de la Première Guerre mondiale, la France se relève du plus grand conflit qu’elle n’ait jamais connu et doit rendre hommage à des milliers de victimes. Un deuil qui s’exprime par les chrysanthèmes.

It is the most common fox in Eurasia, North America, North Africa and Australia. The species is classified in the order of Carnivora, but it has an omnivorous diet predominantly carnivorous, and feeds mainly on rodents and rabbits, but also on insects, fish or fruits. Els atemptats de París del 13 i 14 de novembre de 2015 foren un seguit d'atacs simultanis contra civils succeïts durant la nit del 13 i 14 de novembre a París, en els 10è i 11è districtes (al restaurant Le Petit Cambodja, el bar Le Carillon, la plaça de la República, la rue Bichat, el Bataclan, el boulevard Beaumarchais, i a la rue de Charonne Faidherbe) i explosions al Stade de France a Saint-Denis.

QANUQTUURNIQ 2016
Dans le cadre des Jeux panaméricains de 2015, une murale collaborative réunissant quatre jeunes de Cape Dorset au Nunavut et deux jeunes artistes de Toronto, Alexa Hatanaka et Patrick Thompson (Embassy of Imagination), a été réalisée et a connu un immense succès.
Inspirée par ce projet, MU a invité ces artistes à se produire à Montréal en 2016. C’est donc une équipe formée des jeunes Inuits Johnny Samayualie, Parr Josephee, Saaki Nuna, Tommy Quvianaqtuliaq et Salomonie Ashoona, en plus des deux artistes torontois, qui est venue à Montréal pour la réalisation de ce projet bien spécial. La murale Qanuqtuurniq «Ingénieux et innovant» vise à créer des échanges entre les villes canadiennes et les communautés et à recueillir le plus d’impact possible pour nos jeunes artistes. Elle est située aux Habitations Coupal dans le quartier Centre-Sud. Les résidents des Habitations ont d’ailleurs été consultés dans le but de choisir une maquette parmi les trois proposées par les artistes.
L’imaginaire et les dessins qui composent la murale sont ceux des jeunes Nunavummiuts, tous âgés entre 13 et 17 ans. Les artistes Alexa Hatanaka et Patrick Thompson sont, quant à eux, responsables de la composition finale et de l’agencement des différents dessins afin de donner unité et sens narratif à la murale. L’esthétique, l’inspiration et le sens même de l’oeuvre reflètent la culture, les intérêts, les préoccupations ou le vécu des cinq jeunes Nunavummiuts, et de la jeune génération actuelle.
As part of the 2015 Pan American Games, four young people from Cape Dorset in Nunavut and two young artists from Toronto, Alexa Hatanaka and Patrick Thompson (Embassy of Imagination), collaborated on a mural that was immensely successful.
Inspired by this project, MU invited these artists to create a mural in Montreal. The team consisted of five young Inuit: Johnny Samayualie, Parr Josephee, Saaki Nuna, Tommy Quvianaqtuliaq and Salomonie Ashoona, who came to Montreal especially for the project, along with the two artists from Toronto. The mural, “Qanuqtuurniq ‘Innovative and Resourceful’”, aims to create exchanges between Canadian cities and indigenous communities and to create the most impact possible for the young artists. The mural is located in the Habitations Coupal in the Centre-Sud. The residents of the Habitations were consulted to select one of the three designs proposed by the artists.
The imagination and the drawings that comprise the mural belong to the young Nunavummiuts, all between 13 and 17 years of age. The artists, Alexa Hatanaka and Patrick Thompson, are responsible for the final composition of the mural and the arrangement of the drawings that gives it a sense of unity and a narrative meaning. The aesthetic, the inspiration and the meaning of the work reflect the culture, interests, concerns and the lived experiences of the five young Nunavummiuts, and of today’s youth.
The artists were assisted by Aidan Price-Bottenberg and Seayenna Lee during the execution of the project.
The Toyota Urban Cruiser was introduced in 2009. In North America the car was sold as Scion xD. Over here the car wasn't a commercial succes and it disappeared silently from Toyota's line-up around 2012.

De onthulling van het Derper Vraauwtje was een groot succes op vrijdagmiddag 30 oktober 2015. Een grote groep Derpers was gekomen om dit mee te maken.
Jannek Konijn onthulde, samen met haar zoon Engel, het beeldje door de geel-rode Egmondse vlag te verwijderen en vertelde een ontroerend verhaal over verdronken vissers uit haar familie. Het Derper Vraauwtje, gemaakt door Fabio Pravisani, staat boven op het duin uit te kijken over de zee. Een mooie aanwinst voor het dorp, gerealiseerd door de vereniging Dorpsbelangen Egmond 'Parel' aan Zee.

The unveiling of the Derper Vraauwtje was a great success on Friday October 30th 2015. A large group Derpers had come to witness this.
Jannek Rabbit unveiled , along with her son Angel , the statue by the yellow-red flag and remove Egmond told a touching story about fishermen drowned in her family. Donovan at first was called the Bob Dylan of the UK, but that wasn 't right at all, he was a spiritual guy who got into esoteric stuff and so his succes stayed very limited and wasn 't steady at all. He is of course part of the flower power age by the time he lived in, but he is on the highly spirited side of it. That 's why I put that between brackets... he 'ld be more believing in the spiritual and healing power of flowers. He 's of course all for peace, love and understanding, that certainly, but really on a higher level. He was against drugs and alcohol for instance, went to India for years living in an ashram, advocated meditation, was deeply interested in ancient civilisations like Atlantis etc.. which doesn 't mean he wouldn 't be lightfooted and cheerful, like this song very much looks and sounds, but as for the interpretation of the lyrics... one must look at it in that frame, see the symbolism woven in there. To give it a try: saffron is a very mild eastern spice, also the color of the Hara Krishna cloths; fourteen is probably to be explained by Kabbalah.. alchemic reunion... the flying on wind with velocity nil must be spiritual, probably referring to meditation... and filling the cup... with love of course, the energy coming from the highest/deepest source of life, which is also at the same time containing all wisdom... banana most likely stands for fruits figuratively, which as we know are material and spiritual, standing as well for high tech as high standards and expectations on the humanity level, perfectly harmonious relations and open communication and sharing, is probably referring to the 'electric' yet very idealistic aquarius age coming next when everything gets speeded up... so anything but (so called free/meaningless/casual) 'sex, drugs and rock and roll' his flower power is, more likely he 'd been only interested in making love with his very twin soul and the highest of sacred love one can only experience then, feeling completely whole again on all levels! In that sense the flying high forever also can be seen. Compared to the much brutal rock and roll scene, he 's totally mellow, yeah, not only his folk music is, but he himself as a person... very sweet and mellow he is, very mild and kind... gotten only a bit harder in his judgement at much later age after having gone through much adversity, but it cann' t be possible that he lost his true endeavors... which are only to attain on a small scale of living, out of the main stream, war games and/or hard business and show world, the public eye... like it has always been for those finer delicate souls...

De open dagen van de Koninklijke Luchtmacht waren een groot succes. Binnen 2 dagen bezochten 280.000 mensen de airshows op vliegbasis Leeuwarden. Absolute hoogtepunt was de het eerste publieke optreden van de F-35 lightning II, voorheen de JSF (Joint Strike Fighter) die hier spectaculair door de bewolking breekt en zelf een eigens condenswolk vormt.
The open days of the Royal Netherlands AirForce were a great success. 280.000 spectators were witnesses of spectaculair airshows. The highlight was the first European show of the F-35 Lightning II fighter jet (Joint Strike Fighter). The jet breaks through the clouds and forms a spectaculair vapourcloud around the jet. It is flying almost at the speed of sound.
The MG B was introduced in Autumn 1962 and quite a succes right from the start. More than a half million ware sold, divided over several models and generations.
The last MGB was built in 1980, this was a Mk3.
The original colour of this convertible used to be yellow!

Several short-eared owls were observed in Beaver county this winter. There must have been a good supply of voles judging by the succes rate of the owls catching them.

Honfleur is a commune in the Calvados department in Normandy en.normandie-tourisme.fr/normandy-tourism-109-2.html in northwestern France. The Sainte-Catherine church, which has a bell tower separate from the principal building, is the largest church made out of wood in France. The first written record of Honfleur is a reference by Richard III, Duke of Normandy, in 1027. By the middle of the 12th century, the city represented a significant transit point for goods from Rouen to England. Located on the estuary of one of the principal rivers of France with a safe harbour and relatively rich hinterland, Honfleur profited from its strategic position from the start of the Hundred Years' War. The town's defences were strengthened by Charles V in order to protect the estuary of the Seine from attacks from the English. This was supported by the nearby port of Harfleur. However, Honfleur was taken and occupied by the English in 1357 and from 1419 to 1450. When under French control, raiding parties often set out from the port to ransack the English coasts, including partially destroying the town of Sandwich, in Kent, England, in the 1450s. At the end of the Hundred Years' War, Honfleur benefited from the boom in maritime trade until the end of the 18th century. Trade was disturbed during the wars of religion in the 16th century. The port saw the departure of a number of explorers, in particular in 1503 of Binot Paulmierde Gonneville to the coasts of Brazil. In 1506, local man Jean Denis departed for Newfoundland island and the mouth of the Saint Lawrence. An expedition in 1608, organised by Samuel de Champlain, founded the city of Quebec in modern day Canada. After 1608, Honfleur thrived on trade with Canada, the West Indies, the African coasts and the Azores. As a result, the town became one of the five principal ports for the slave trade in France. During this time the rapid growth of the town saw the demolition of its fortifications on the orders of Colbert. The wars of the French revolution and the First Empire, and in particular the continental blockade, caused the ruin of Honfleur. It only partially recovered during the 19th century with the trading of wood from northern Europe. Trade was however limited by the silting up of the entrance to the port and development of the modern port at Le Havre. The port however still functions today.
