One of the buildings overlooking Schillerplatz is the oldest church in the city, the Stiftskirche (Collegiate Church), designed by Aberlin and Hanslin Jorg during the late 15th century. It is the main Protestant church in Stuttgart. Its interior is largely modern, as the church was badly damaged during World War Two. On the right is a remarkable survival from the old church - an ancestral Renaissance gallery in stone of eleven counts and dukes of Wurttemberg, the work of Sem Schlor.

There have been protests in the front of the Spanish consulate and in the pedestrian area of Stuttgart (Castle's square), where we informed passers-by for hours, with hundreds of flyers, placards, and a megaphone, on the cases of the "Spanish activists" and the systematic repression against the animal rights movement."
