A bundle of external wall cassettes and internal studwalls are lifted high over the scaffolding and up onto the first floor ready to be positioned.
View from the outside, through the basement family room window, at the 2"x6" stud wall which separates the exercise room from the family room, and bears load. The orange folding ladders beyond are roughly situated in the mechanical room, under the staircase.
I plumbed in the new shower faucet and replaced the weird studwall that was holding the old one before putting in the greenboard wall on the sink side and starting to tape and spackle the room.
The wall: exterior sheathing, scale plywood, studwall, pink foam insulation in the wall between the studs, interior drywall, baseboard. The floor is made up of individual floor planks laid atop plywood set over floor joists.

The event was hosted by Cole Moffatt owner of Steelton Glass Company. "Steelton Glass is an architectural, art, and leaded glass studio located in Columbus, Ohio. His services range from stained glass design to leaded window repair and restoration." Located at 2050 S. High Street in Columbus, Ohio.
After the hour presentation we were allowed to explore the building and take pictures.
