Venerdì 20 ottobre 2023 al Mediolanum Forum di Assago a Milano arrivano i Fall Out Boy, rock band multi-platino nominata ai Grammy Awards.
I Fall Out Boy si formano alla periferia di Chicago nel 2000 e debuttano nel 2003 con l’album Fall Out Boy’s Evening Out With Your Girlfriend, immediatamente seguito da Take This To Your Grave (Fueled by Ramen): i due dischi preludono, nello stesso anno, all’uscita dell’acustico My Heart Will Always Be The B-Side To My Tongue. Nel 2005 il successo dell’album From under the cork tree - grazie anche ai singoli Sugar we're goin' down, dance, dance e A little less sixteen candles, a little more Touch me - trasforma il gruppo underground in superstar internazionali.
Il nuovo status viene confermato sia con una nomination ai Grammy come Best New Act nel 2005, sia con la pubblicazione, nel 2007, del quinto album dei Fall Out Boy, Infinity On High, che li proietta nuovamente nelle prime posizioni delle classifiche americane. Dopo Folie A Deux, segue una pausa di cinque anni in cui i vari componenti del gruppo si dedicano ad attività collaterali. Nel 2013 è la volta del nuovo disco Save Rock And Roll, seguito, due anni dopo, da American Beauty/American Psycho. Tra il 2018 e il 2019 pubblicano l’album Mania - nuova nomination ai Grammy come Best Rock Album - e l'ep Lake Effect Kid oltre al disco Believers Never Die (Volume 2), il loro secondo album dei più grandi successi.
Nel luglio 2021 i Fall Out Boy danno il via al The Hella Mega Tour insieme a Green Day e Weezer, esibendosi dal vivo davanti ad oltre un milione di fan. Nel 2023 pubblicano l’ottavo album in studio So Much (For) A Stardust, anticipato dai brani Love From the Other Side e Heartbreak Feels So Good.
