My next step is to gear this SOB down a few notches. Its currently at 42x16. Which is way to much for trudging through any kind of snow accumulation.
This is another macro photo taking in natural lighting. The focus is on the little red studs and lies on one of the horizontal rule of thirds lines.
I was skeptical about the pattern, but it seems to have worked just fine. One in the middle, two on the outside, every other row.

Mating Silver-studded Blues found yesterday morning.
Unfortunately when I found the mating butterflies about 20 cattle decided to walk through at that very moment.
Very hard work trying to photograph the pair whilst avoiding cattle and ticks.
Not the best shots but great to see.

This is what happens when you put too many nails in your framing. There were several other places where the wood split, too. Oh, and those steel connectors are a real bitch to take off.
