Sheila Fakurnejad presents the first swissnex SF SciComm Studio meetup, using mushrooms as a starting point for science communication in biology: exploring how scientists can tap into the sensory experience of mycology and do-it-yourself projects to expand the public’s understanding of science. The event included a demonstration of a cigarette butt digester and a fungal oil remediation project provided by BAAM (Bay Area Applied Mycology) and mycelium products transformed by MycoWorks.

On June 13th & 14th, 2019, the Durham Ultimate Club's boys touring team competed at regionals in Belleville. These boys earned a great deal of experience under superb leadership from their coaching team. Congratulations for your efforts this weekend boys!
These are sweet, fun polka dot studs. Constructed from shrink plastic, recycled fabric (once part of an hideous 80s dress found at my local op shop) and resin, the petite circles of polka dots are so much fun to wear without being over the top. Great match for a black tank, dress or voluminous white minidress. Yeow!!
These dainty little earrings are great for every day wear!
They have been handmade in Sterling Silver, have a scratch finish surface with polished edges and have been set with beautiful (2mm) Emerald coloured Cubic Zirconias.
The studs are 7mm round and come with sterling silver scroll fittings. They have a 925 sterling silver mark along with my own unique sponsors mark.
