Another shoot from the other day when laura and that came over. Cant help but thank my cousins and there friend for coming over and let me try my new stuff out.

My first camera. Purchased very cheap with 3 lenses that I used for a couple of years. Used it during my travels in India and Asia. Great camera, robust and lightweight.

Actually, this came out pretty well. Main problems here have to do with the crappy backdrop.

Other than the backdrop, which is a universal problem, I'm fairly happy with this. I feel like it's getting a little too much fill flash, and the light from the right is a bit too harsh, because I adjsuted for that intensity, the overall image is a bit dark.

Test shot setting up my garage studio

This is the one I like! I used one flash what is reflected from the ceiling. I was surprised of the result, in positive sense. My dog was sleeping on that sofa, then she heard something, and looked funny =D *snap* I took this photo, and I'm very happy with it. Please leave a comment.

Got this shot last saturday when killing time home ;) I have no extern flash trigger yet, nor a macro lens. So this was shot using the flash mounted on the camera directed 45 degrees to the right into a mirror. I hold up a newspaper that prevented the light to hit the car directly. I then had a pink piese of plastic on the left side that reflected pink light back to the car. I also had some metal just out of frame to bounce some light back. I place the camera on tripod as close to the car still maintaining focus.. Since I have no macrolens I had to crop the image a lot to get the care where I wanted it in this final frame. It's just an experiment, but it I think it is kind of cool when you know how I took it. (Last thing: I can't remeber if I used it in this shot, but some of the shots I tok using a tuperware-like small bowl over the flash as a defuser.. ) )
