Taken on the same grim occasion, and only a few feet from the image just posted of the 'funicular'. One of Scarborough's myriad of Open Top buses, this one owned by Shoreline Sun(!)cruisers prepares to start it's day of plying the sea front (and a diversion into the town because of road works!)
Never being one who 'gets' art, I was a little bemused to find someone had strung up two wire figures from the tree in the foreground. I've no idea why, but it would, I suppose, be rude not to include at least one in this shot of bus, viaduct and beach. The artistry in the viaduct is more to my taste, the fine structure dates from the 1820s and carries newt but a walkway. I presume the bus to be an Alexander ALX bodied Dennis Trident, though I'm quite prepared to be corrected as it's a bit new for me ;-)
First conceptional approach with the topic structure close-ups.
