In January we finally give up on transporting her to and from day care in a carrier and buy a no-frill and very light stroller. Miss PP hates it. We still use the big stroller for outings on the weekend and to go shopping.

Today I managed to get the stroller frame, the car seat, the diaper bag, the baby, and myself to the doctor...twice! That meant hauling everything up and down 2 flights of stairs while keeping Aeryn calm and in sight during the entire operation. She cooperated by falling asleep seconds after a squirmy insertion into the dreaded 5-point harness of the car seat. Maybe the smiling bugs dangling from the handle bar into her field of vision made her shut her eyes?
Adriel still loves being carried. He's 12.5kgs and feisty. So we always bring our stroller wherever we go. He loves pushing it. And so there you go. No more carrying Adriel. Another use for strollers.

I bought this ADORABLE sock monkey fleece to make something for my new nephew, and I decided on a stroller snuggly. It's to keep him warm and cozy when we take him to Disneyland (ahem) later this year. It's basically like a sleeping bag, only with legs so that it fits through the stroller leg-holes.
I took about a yard (maybe a little more, I was eyeballing) of fleece and folded the ends toward the middle. I cut and pinned "legs" with an overlap across the middle for velcro (which then can be opened/closed to lift him in/out of the stroller or to adjust the temperature).
Just like AC before him, AJ seems to want to push the stroller rather than sit in it from an early age.

Out on an evening stroll with me, after yet another virus. He really loves the steering wheel on this, but he's really too big to ride these days. But it was fun.
This trio was taking up the rear of a group of holiday revelers who were noisily parading down the street with a golden statue of some sort.
It was striking how happy they all seemed at the sight of the dog in the stroller.

I went on a trip with my company to St. Petersburg this weekend. It was the first time I went to St. Pete, and also I've just got myself a new lense, so I couldn't wait to go out and snap some pics. We went for a walk to the Finnish Bay — it was falling tide and a small sand spits appeared along the coast. That was where I saw this lady, strolling along it — lonely and mysterious...
