Arbroath Inchcape Strollers Girls FC took possession of their new tracksuits and kit bags in February, 2005. The tracksuits were donated by the Millgate Bar, and the kit bags were bought with funds raised by Linda MacMillan through selling the Lichtie Lottery. Pictured were, from left, back - Linda MacMillan, Erin Moir, Shannon Sinclair, Laura Sievwright, Ian Parsley, Holly Lamb, Dave Beattie, Naomi Dunphy, Deanna McMullen, Stephanie Doyle and Mark Dalgarno, Millgate Bar: front - Natalie Robb, Kate Shepherd, Stephanie Ward, Laura Coffin, Amy Jamieson and Emma Sinclair.
On 24th September, around 100 participants in this year's Caledonian100 event set off from Aviemore to circumnavigate 100km of the Cairngorms National Park on foot, within 30 hours. Walking in groups of 3, 4 or 5, and raising sponsorship for the Scottish Community Foundation (SCF, who run the event), participants were treated to almost perfect weather and some of the most beautiful spots within the Cairngorms National Park.
My head, in an effort to teach my body a lesson, decided to store massive amounts of food and anti-matter so that it would grow and grow and RUN FOR YOUR LIVES. I wish I could state that my skull was that large because it needed as much room as possible in order to house my incredibly humongous brain, but, sadly, I still can't do long division without paper and pencil.
I bought this ADORABLE sock monkey fleece to make something for my new nephew, and I decided on a stroller snuggly. It's to keep him warm and cozy when we take him to Disneyland (ahem) later this year. It's basically like a sleeping bag, only with legs so that it fits through the stroller leg-holes.
I took about a yard (maybe a little more, I was eyeballing) of fleece and folded the ends toward the middle. I cut and pinned "legs" with an overlap across the middle for velcro (which then can be opened/closed to lift him in/out of the stroller or to adjust the temperature).

Parents and their babies strolled around the Guggenheim ramps as museum educator (and mom) Jackie Delamatre led them through an engaging 1-hour tour with songs, touchable objects, and great adult conversations.

This wall of strollers really helped move traffic along. There were even Cast Members directing people along this narrow passage.
From a test roll shot with Kodak Signet 35 which I got for about $65 (with shipping) off of ebay on cheap Walgreens ISO 400 film. The camera is in pretty good condition for its age. I'll post a picture of the camera some time soon. I'm surprised by the quality of the lens on such a cheap camera. Well I guess it was not cheap by the standards when it was released about 55-60 years back.
Scanned using CanoScan 9000f scanner.
This was something I'd never seen in a library before. Near the elevator was an area with several strollers that customers could borrow for their time in the library. I think many visitors arrived via public trans and so didn't have strollers with them. The director told me that they were used often. What a thoughtful public service offering!
I walked into my sister's to find a kitten sleeping in her toddler's stroller. She would not move for anyone.
