Chinese Character Strokes

Scott Scoggin works to complete a mural he and his wife Jacqui are painting on a “happenings” board on Market Street near 13th Street. The art project is part of Spaceworks Tacoma — a joint program of the City of Tacoma and the Tacoma-Pierce County Chamber. The program was launched in 2010 to “activate empty storefronts and vacant spaces,” according to its website. The board they are painting is one of two left from the 1950s, he said. They are destined to be removed by the city, he said, but they are determined to give the space a little color before that happens. “Our mural will be up for a year,” he said. The Scoggins started their project two days ago and are hoping to finnish by the end of the day. The couple are artists who own Year Round Co., a design business on the Hilltop neighborhood.

Encasquetei de usar esse craquelado azul depois de vê-lo nas unhas da Beeanka e saí catando todos os meus azuis clarinhos pra decidir qual usaria de base. E o escolhido foi o Patty, de uma marca voldemort (inominável). Foram duas camadas de base azul clarinha, uma do Stroke e TC Ideal. Nem gosto de usar topcoat em craquelado, porque acho que o efeito rústico dos craquelados fica mais bonito no acabamento fosquinho original, mas neste caso específico abri uma exceção, porque esse azul lindo merece brilhar muito.

As cutículas detonadas pelo alicate maldito mandam beijos.

Rowing regatta on the Bosbaan in Amsterdamse Bos. I pedaled along.

This is my "one stroke" teacher Mimi and one of her pupils. Took another course yesterday and I felt like a total failure after it. I know that practice makes perfect, but boy do I need to practice alot :-))))
