had the good fortune to see the Monet exhibition at the Vancouver Art Gallery this weekend. It was wonderful as we were allowed to take photos, a first for me. I love being able to peer closely at a painting, seeing the actual brush strokes. This large one was my favourite of the show. He was certainly prolific in his output, many did not appeal to me at all, seemed very "muddy", but I'm so glad that I got to see them, there were lineups when we left, many tourists in town, probably from cruise ships. I said to my husband, "these people have paid good money to come to our city and we get to live here and take it for granted ".
( but I don't, I love Vancouver :)

I had a stroke April 26, 2022. My right side wouldn’t move. What's worse I had aphasia. I lost most of my language skills.
I came home from the rehab hospital June 1. I still couldn't walk nor talk properly. Home therapists worked with me then.
I almost can walk, through wobbly. I keep leaving my walker behind me. I write slowly. I can read. I can understand what others say to me. Others don't understand me quite as well.
As I recover, caregivers assist me. We walk together. They drive me to I need be. They use my camera take pictures of my recovery.
Best of all, I'm beginning to use my phone's camera again. It takes two hands. My right hand has enough control to push the button about half the time. It's good be on Flickr again.
Baby bison are called red dogs and that is because they are typically "red" but this little guy was the first I have seen of a chocolate color. Chocolate "Little Red" was a stroke of luck in my adventures.
When the calves are born, typically their moms stay pretty far away from areas that are accessible. It is even luck to get them close enough to photograph because trekking out to little reds would be a horrible disaster and much discouraged. 😂
I feel pretty blessed when I go out looking for something and I score. Lots of days are filled with looking, putting lots of miles on your car (with 230,000 miles already) and finding nothing.

The Saab 93 is a tough old rocker with its smoking two-stroke engine and a frame that rolls with the punches. Sometimes the Saab factory driver Erik Carlsson rolled his car deliberately through the mud, which gave him the nickname 'Carlsson on the roof'. It didn't cause much damage, because the Saab 93 was unusually sturdy.
This type won rallies such as the Liège-Rome-Liège, and even Guy Moerenhout's father competed in one.
Engine: 748 cc two-stroke inline three cylinder, 50 hp.

With a family day out to Lowther Castle planned and having just arrived, i duly checked what was running. To my surprise, the logs were running and pathed under the wires, even better they were running an hour late giving me the only loco photo of the day, so here in splendid scenery and sunny weather is Colas 70812 as it heads through the mighty Lowther Estate (some 72,000 acres in total) at Yanwath, Cumbria working 6J37 10:59 Carlisle Yard-Chirk Kronospan. 25/06/2018.
