Allan Tosh strokes out some notes on an instrument of his own design - a "Cel-hu". The "Cel-hu" is modelled after the traditional Chinese 2 string fiddle called an Er-hu. The skin top is stretched python. Photographed May 11, 2013 at his home at Shawnigan Lake, British Columbia, Canada.
This piece closely resembles that of the one in the Oliver Bryan gallery. The curving lines and continuous stroking flows, and is an artistic trait. The seemingly random lines may actually serve a purpose, but the actual purpose is in the eyes of the beholder.
