I got to shoot a triathlon this past weekend. After being blown away by the athletics and determination of everyone, and the love and support surrounding them, I'm totally going to do this next year.
And have my parents make signs. Just saying.

He was talking up a storm, and I tried to capture it, but he clammed up for the camera. But you can see his uneven pupils - his left eye was much more dilated (although at the vet was the best that it looked - it was usually 100% dilated) - and how the right side of his face was starting to slack. His eyes don't blink at the same time and he's holding his right ear down and out. (We found out later that he'd had a stroke and secondarily did something to his ear)

I truly appreciated the opportunity to look at paintings up close, as long as I was not breathing on them. One of Monet’s Haystacks was a true example of how each stroke, with its color and texture, contributed to the nuanced beauty of the Impressionism masterpiece. Do you notice the hint of the rising sun hidden behind these strikes?
