Valentines Day warmup - sunset in La Jolla, featuring the elevated Lifeguard Tower on Prospect Ave.
Things were looking promising, but nothing was happening until suddenly the sky lit up.
I was actually in another area just down the street, and had packed up my gear and was heading back when this happened. I was able to quickly setup next to the tower and get a decent composition.
I have seen this tower many times before, but this is my first time to photograph it.... makes a nice subject I think.
In times of drought many animals resort to eating bark. In this case the baboons were the culprits. Just hope the tree will survive.

Deep in the Arizona Strip at an overlook above Hidden Canyon. Unfortunately, it was a hazy day with smoke from a designated burn.

One from earlier in August when this big guy and five others were munching away on the willows and paling around like best friends. Recent reports are that the velvet has already been shed and/or in the process of being shed, and they have been hanging out in the higher elevations because of the heat. Hoping to find a few this weekend to photograph.
The Cecil is a popular club on Granville Street.
I have never been inside, not my scene.

Spotted an interesting refelction of the overhead striplight on the glass on my phone. Cariad took a shot of it and challenged me to make something of it.
Stumbled across these two guys in Central London doing their best not to draw attention to themselves! Not a part of any performance, but seemingly a photo-shoot!
