My cavaquinho (Portuguese ukulele) It has 4 metal strings, tuned in d-b-g-g. Not a good picture, as I made it with a very cheap regular camera and then scanned it.
There are few things more annoying, and potentially painful, than unsnipped string ends.. I have a hole in my EYE to prove this!!
These are the strings of my Harvest of Hope Fest Guitar! Special thanks to Ryan Murphy for getting it to me in mint condition - 31 UPS padded envelopes plus boxes, shredded paper and bubble wrap = two full recycling bins!
Harvest of Hope raises money all year long to assist with their mission of providing migrant farmworkers and their families with emergency relief and financial assistance. Check it out!
