Was at a friends wedding this week and got this nice pic of the strings players. Post processing in Aperture 3. I like the look though.

Gaaaah~! I've been dying to use that SD violin ever since HKDP9, but couldn't—at least, not until it was properly introduced. Hurray for finally making this photostory! ♥
Remember how it was the Madame who enrolled little Frei to violin classes, and how she bought him a violin. Then remember how Ave sent Frei to the Atelier, and then stole the violin from House Zia. Now, the Madame once again bought a violin for Frei, challenging Ave to try and pull the same stunt seven years ago.

Gu zheng players performing at the concourse of the Esplanade. Apart from classic Chinese songs, a couple of the performers also played a song by Richard Clayderman.
Colour and ground glass are rubbed into the kite strings ready for Uttarayan, (the International Kite Festival), which marks the day winter begins to turn in to summer.

i believe this was a 5 second exposure, and i just suspended the tennis ball via string (and tape, crudely enough) and moved it during the exposure. in the darkroom, i burned out my hand complete, thus making it appear as if the tennis strings had somehow snapped *before* the ball arrived. i didn't think this one through, clearly, but i still like it.
