There is a sign that states the wooden side walk, for Downtown Wichita, KS, at that time, cost $17,000.00.

Just scrolling through the archives and discovered this one from 2011. We went back to Chiangmai about five years ago but was amazed at how busier it had become! Would hate to think what it is like now after the pandemic devasted the tourist trade. Tourists just starting to flood back.

For #FlickrFriday. (I'm completely amazed) this was featured on the Flickr Blog here.

According to Scout this has been explored but I haven't actually been able to find it! If it has been then it will be my first ever explore.

An old slide of my parents taken during a trip to the Black Forest in the summer of the 1975.

On the way back we stopped off in Strasbourg.

I could place it from the sign Maison Kammerzell which is one of the most famous buildings in Strasbourg built in 1427.

In the background is the Cathedral.

Also in shot a nice French registered Renault 5.

New at the time as the Renault 5 was launched in 1972.

It looks like what I assume is a waitress is in traditional dress.

Although it has not really been my thing, I also made the occasional photo with other human beings in it. This gives these images more of a typical "street photography" feel, even if cool and distanced. I must admit that it wasn't the human presence that drew me to these scenes, but rather the light (a & c) or details (b). Though in each case, I think they add a touch of extra interest to the images.

Ok so this isn't the med (I should be so lucky) but a Bideford st, early morning. I love the way the light was reflecting off the different surfaces and tried to capture that here.

Martin Street in Raleigh, North Carolina looking east. Various businesses are seen including, Strand Theater, Dillon Supply Company, Thompson Electric, Hotel Wright, and Circle Pharmacy. From Carolina Power and Light (CP&L) Photograph Collection (PhC.68), North Carolina State Archives.
