I have taken two very similar pictures and pocessed them a bit differently. I cannot make up my mind which one I like the most. I would love very much to get your opinion on which you prefer..... This is the lighter version.

Macro Mondays: "Single Use"

 

I used a flashlight to get the highligths on the rims of the straws.

 

The image is about 5 cm (2 inches) on the long edge.

For the theme I have used paper straws on a mirror to get a degree of reflection and lit by a torch.

Light sea mist was rising and revlealed the sun setting over the Irish Sea.

seen in a field on my walk round NWT Cley, Norfolk.

Today is a wonderful day and I'm very happy because the weather was really nice and I'm on Explore with my flowerpicture I uploaded yesterday :-)

 

So I decided to upload a few more pictures I made last week. Now the harvest time is already in full swing and now you can find straw bales on every field so I thought I should take some nice pictures of them :-)

I spent some time with this moth yesterday as it fed on our fall blossoms. This image shows an explosion of colors it as it feeds :)

It's a joy to see the 2 new members to this critically globally endangered song bird here
