Don't you just HATE a purse strap that simply won't stay on your shoulder? Well Daisy was obviously having a hell of a time with hers. With her shoulders you wouldn't think it would be a problem at all....but I think the slippery fabric of that sweater is to blame. Much as I enjoyed watching her frustration (never got much sympathy from her when I had such a problem, after all...), I'll see what I can do. I think I've seen some rubberized strap protectors somewhere. Hopefully that will do the trick. 💋
Cindy got Bree, Roberta & I together for another photo shoot last weekend! We shot a number of sets of themes, this one being a black & white ensemble set. Cindy had found these lovely sheer black & white tops to wear for the set and I think they look lovely!
My ensemble for this set of pix consists of the sheer black top, my Baltogs black wet look lycra spandex leotard from nydancewear.com, super shiny Platino 15 denier pantyhose from shapings.com and my cute T-strap peep toe platform pumps from venus.com.

I tried to walk past. I tried to think "no, I don't need them". But they called out to me and demanded to be bought. They are "sling back" which I have never really liked, and which is what made me really think twice, but the amazing shape, and the lovely straps, the beautiful texture and shine. Just had to have them.
I decided new sheer pantyhose and a new skirt would probably be appropriate to wear with them.
7 week old Eva giving it to the camera strap. Gotta remember to flip it behind my neck before taking photos.

Strobist details: There's a Godox AD200 into a softbox to the right, then I added a pair of TT600's with blue gels right next to each other so that they'd cycle a bit faster.. And then there's another salmon gel on the TT600 on the ground pointed upwards. All four of those were triggered by the XProO in my hotshoe

One of those crazy rides at the Royal Canberra Show last weekend ... there was this terrific sky and screaming people ... how could I resist ... I particularly loved how the clouds came out looking all 'the view from orbit'

At our recent T-Girl Nation Dinner at Tara Temple in Arlington, VA, I had a lovely time & got better acquainted with Jenny! Her dress is marvelous, isn't it?

I've been wanting a wrist strap for my a5100 ever since I got it a few months ago. I read about these gordy straps and they looked good so I bought one and received it the other day. They are very nice and I can't wait to get it broken in.
Strobist info: SB800 in a Lumiquest Softbox III mounted on a magic arm so that it was directly above the camera (in the picture) shooting down. Fired by the Nikon CLS system at 1/64 power.
