Don't tell anyone but I took this while I was driving....I saw this sky but was in a hurry so I grabbed my camera and shot blind out the window.... going about 80K.... not recommended.

Storm clouds that spawned some tornado's Never saw them from our perspective

Taken at Rhossili Beach, Gower - we are due to have Storm Darragh hitting us tomorrow with a red alert for danger to life warning - eeek! I certainly won't be going to my favourite beach as it will be far too dangerous sadly.

Happy Fence Friday everyone - big swell, waves and wind expected this weekend before the 'lamb' of spring comes and nuzzles us all with some soft spring sunshine on Monday. Fingers crossed I can get some shots in over the next few days - its been a few weeks since I have taken some shots.

This shot was taken a few weeks ago when the sun was rising behind Ben Bucker rocky outpost - the beach was washed up so went up to get some shots - only me and one other photographer up there - the light was eerie and very cool.

The evening sky was just gorgeous this evening. Everything was in alignment for a wonderful sky.

winter evening with snow storm. only a few lights in the darkness.

This storm arrived last night so the full force came overnight but there was still enough of a wind to make for dramatic seascape this morning.

It's been stormy in the afternoon and evening the past few days. Here's a storm on Monday coming in from the Northeast. Not a typical direction for a storm coming into the Morris area. Five exposure HDR processed with Nik HDR Efex Pro 2

A pleasure craft sails under stormy skies on the Aegean sea near Kassandra, Greece.

Some dramatic light and clouds over the sea on a day of sunshine and showers in West Cork.

The storm arrives, the earth to cleanse,

With power born from nature's tense.

Yet in this chaos, beauty reigns,

In the distance, where the storm sustains.

Beautiful waves crashing on the promenade during Storm Herminia.

The storm raged throughout the night. When morning came, the rain continued, but the wind calmed down a bit, allowing us to take the cruise along the entire length of Milford Sound out to the Tasman Sea.

Mountains across Milford Sound were gushing water everywhere I looked at. All of the mountains turned into waterfalls!

Although the quality of the photos was severely impacted by the wind and continuous rain, it was an amazing experience.

Saltburn in the storm. A white churning sea and in the distance small streams that normally run down the cliffs are being blown back up as if gravity has failed.

An image I took late afternoon in Snowdonia National Park . This was taken as the Clouds rolled in across the mountain tops and gave us this awesome and angry looking sky before the heavy rains came.

The evening sun has finally broken through the storm clouds over the Sangre de Cristo Mountains as the Colorado Pacific Rio Grande Walsenburg job exits the Walsenburg Yard Limits and begins their westbound trek back to Alamosa.
