Another storm last night, did not have to drive as far, taken from Tropical FruitWorld near Murwillumbah, NSW, Australia
Storm clouds approach.
Very unsettled weather here in the East of England just lately.
The moisture rises from the earth warmed by the recent sunshine.
Folds in the land of Arizona under stormy weather. The mix of storm and sunset light was pretty intense there in the Petrified Forest.
The Bridge....
Saturday Karen and I made our way to the south end of Heart Lake Conservation Area; The fall is a fickle time. some years the leaves changing colours are okay and others they don't change much at all. some years they last for a long time others a sudden storm and strong winds and its all over.
This is probably the last weekend for shooting fall colours in southern Ontario, the colour display is off the charts, so may varied shades of red, yellow and burnt orange.
this shot is of the bridge in the middle of the park, it is showing signs of its age and will probably be replaced with a much better newer one, but i do love the old worn out version.

I am going back to Tarifa in my mind, a few weeks ago, when we took the fairy towards Tangier...
And a bad, bad storm was awaiting us.
Central Texas, during rare strong storms in November. I waited in position for this cell to graze me for quite some time, and it was worth the wait. It put on a great little lightning show.
That's Jupiter at upper left.
Storm Clouds strong winds and rain along with the clouds and still here today, North Carolina weather.
Wetlands in Malheur County...or possibly Harney County, on my way to Burns, OR
I had pulled off the road because I was being aggressively tailgated...and looked off to the side.

"Piove
sui monti e sulle scale
su petali e parole
sul cuore mio che batte
Piove sui poveri soldati
sui campi abbandonati e sulla mia città....
Chissà se agosto è ancora nostro,
se ancora splende il sole
o poi magari piove..
Chissà se mai la frustrazione
diventa un’emozione
così non piove più.
Piove,
sui banchi della scuola
su ogni mia parola che non riesco a dire,
provo un pò a dimenticare
infatti guardo il mare
e non ci penso più..............."
On Skyline Drive in Shenandoah National Park. It's awesome and a bit scary to be up in the clouds so to speak and watching a storm approach with accompanying thunderings. Have a great weekend everyone!

During a severe storm this tree was uprooted and fell across the street. Two cars were buried underneath the tree. Fortunately noone was injured.
What a great way to start off the day!
I began photographing at 5:15am right when things were just starting to get rocking. The sunrise colors were some of the craziest I have ever seen and the lightning was abundant. Loud thunder, strong winds, a rainbow, and huge raindrops were all part of the show too.
Taken 5/30/20 in West Pasco, Washington. Sony a6000 w/ Rokinon 12mm f/2.0.
We were on our Harley, cruising the backroads, but had to stop and get this photo.
It was worth getting drenched.... I think.....
Storm chasing once again. This was located about 20 miles north of Cheyenne, Wy. Later in the day hail developed.
The Hon. James L. Oberstar departs Duluth in ballast for Marquette. Today was a good day for storm light cloud backgrounds.
