This is a 40' Container that is 50% complete and for sale for $4000. I looked at it today and in the process of buying it for my first livable unit for myself.
The typical "rows and rows of units" style of buildings that Americans associate with storage-rental businesses are hidden away in the backyard, but I want the units that look like a house, even though I figure they probably cost more to rent?
The bldg so resembles a house that a newspaper deliveryman got tricked. On the upstairs, the new-style windows do a good job of imitating the old-style windows.

Claire found this huge poop pillow at a thrift store for like $3. We gave it to our nephew, Lincoln, 7.5 months later for his birthday. His party happened to be dinosaur themed. So, apparently, we chose the perfect gift - T-Rex poop! He went rather crazy for it.

Clio organized her makeup into both bathrooms using some conveniently stackable storage units that she had been gradually collecting. They're labeled and everything. Typically Clio switches between the bathrooms twice while doing makeup, because its spread across two bathrooms.
This is our smaller bathroom, and makeup-wise it's really just for eye stuff. The main makeup store is in the other bathroom.
Though the ones in Spanish were labeled like that when we bought them at a yardsale, haha.
And yes: Drawers of separate q-tips, because the dollar store ones are fine for removing most makeup, but the expensive Q-Tip brand precision-tip ones are great for removing makeup in high precision situations.

On June 27, one of the drivers from PODS arrived to pick up our 16-foot storage container, which would soon be shipped to a storage facility outside Austin. I found the process and equipment fascinating, so I snapped a series of photos through our den window as the unit was lifted with a wheeled metal frame and placed on the back of a flatbed truck. Here, the unit rests on the back the flatbed truck before beginning its long journey to Austin...

Using off-site storage for archived paperwork/documents will help maintain your office's work flow and productivity.
The storage unit for an ancient CP/M computer, taken from a VHS film I made in 1991. It had an 8" harddrive and an 8" floppy drive.
The CP/M computer itself was sort of interresting. It was intended as a small office computer with as I recall 8 serial interfaces and at least two Z80 CPUs. The make of the computer could have been "Data Point".

Julie went to work, I went to the storage unit to continue going through boxes to find pictures and letters to my Mom and any other thing that might be of value. I took two loads of trash back to our dumpster and when I saw Ryan he let me put another load in the dumpster at the U-Haul lot.
When I picked Julie up for work we met the rest of the 4 Finger Shot bands and wives at Rooster's on West Broad before we went to Ten Mile Inn for Shotgun's goodbye get together. We went home after Ten Mile Inn but the other guys went to see Kodebreaker at Bottoms Up. It was good to see Ken and we talked a little about our set list but decided we would get together next week to talk in depth about song selection and band direction.
An example of why people should buy stuff with exacting specifications. The proportions are way off, the doors and the frameworks have been made using different materials, and the shelving has been modified to house the TV. Yuck!

This is our larger bathroom, and makeup-wise it's for everything except eyes. Basically the middle column is done from top to bottom, then go to the other bathroom for eyes, then come back and select lip stuff from the right column. The left column is used for more miscellaneous stuff.

The use of storage units is increasing in popularity across the U.S. with many people finding it easier than ever to rent a space to suit their needs in a safe and secure #environment. There are many reasons why an individual or family would want to store their cheap moving boxes in a storage unit including the feeling there is not enough space in a home for their belongings or that items need to be stored in the short term as a move is made. Why should anybody choose a storage unit and make sure it is the correct one for their needs?
Starting with price, each individual deciding whether to rent a storage unit should always look at their budget and decide if they can afford the monthly cost of a storage unit which may be too much when a move is taking place. Moving is an expensive business for many to complete and the added costs of a monthly storage unit rental can add anywhere from $50 to almost $200 depending on where the unit is located and the facilities offered.
Once the budget has been adjusted to include the cost of a monthly #storageunit the next step is to choose where the chosen unit should be located which is a more intriguing mission to undertake than can be imagined. The questions which should be asked at this point include how often will the unit be visited and will it be emptied piece by piece or during one major removal day. Units in rural areas are often cheaper but if the unit is to be visited on a regular basis the cost of fuel and time spent traveling should be factored into the overall cost of the storage unit.
Another factor when choosing a storage unit is when will a visit take place and is access needed during all times of the day and night. Some people may only wish to visit their storage unit during regular business hours which could lower the cost of the chosen unit as the level of personnel required for these units is lower.
When choosing a storage unit it is always a good idea to make a personal visit to the facility and take a tour to make sure the location is up to the standard required and offers clean, affordable units of the correct size. The first aspects of any storage unit facility which should be inspected is the exterior where a secure fence should be in place covering the entire perimeter of the facility to protect all the units held within. Other areas to consider include the need for a security guard at the gate or a security keypad only allowing access to those with a security code. Video camera surveillance #equipment should always be present on the property to add a further level of security to the facility and create a better experience for renters. Finally, it is important to discuss insurance details with the staff at the storage facility to make sure the center of the unit is covered for the property they hold in the unit at all times.
