Yes, emm, I mentioned this stop-motion forever ago. It's sort of a promo for the band that my friend Sarah (the model in this) and I are starting. We shot the video, wrote the music and recorded it in my dad's music studio (which so happens to be in my basement, score) today for three hours. Very exhausting, but I am pleased. :)
Craig and I were going through some random video snippets from the past and found this little stop motion that I made of myself outside Kyoto Japanese restaurant in Greenfield, WI, back in 2007.
Inside somewhere were my bff Richard and our friend Jason.
Twas Richard who, just this evening, helped me discover that I've viewed over 10,000 free XTube movies.
"You're ten times hornier than I am," he said to me.
"Nearly 30, if you're going by the number of our favorites," I replied.
A friend made my sister an origami fishy.

The rest of that song is pretty amazing. As is the rest of his C.D. ^_^

I'm sure the people who dumped this old fish tank on their front lawn over the winter for me to snag had no idea that such fun could come out of it sans-fish.
Spent about 4 hours dropping and splashing random things into the 55 gallon tank last night. Colin even had to rush over to partake in the festivities, once he caught wind that I was even dunking my head! ;) Don't act surprised.
You know I'm that hard-core!

Short stop motion made of old photos (from beginning of September). From this photo shoot.
Tomorrow I'm meeting friends who I haven't seen in a month to watch a movie and chat, because it seems like we all have a lot to explain to each other. I miss them.
Finding a job is resulting difficult, but I should not be surprised when we have a 20% unemployment rate. I haven't been feeling very well either; definitively, not the best week.
I've officially cancelled my matriculation. It was a well thought-out decision. But when the secretary asked me if I wanted to leave university, when the words came out of her mouth, I felt like if someone squeezed me from the inside and a painful weight appeared in my chest.
I feel lost.

This is a lego stop motion filmclip I made for a They Might Be Giants competition.
The song is 'Can't keep Johnny down'.
I ultimately didn't win, but had lots of fun making the clip and learning how to do stop motion.
This is my stop motion animation I did for my ART 119 class. It is made from a series of photos put together in Flash and then exported into a QuickTime format.
This is 321 images in total run at 8 fps.
The effect you see is 1.3 sec exposures, which make moving objects, like cars/buses and people, seem see thru.

I made a video of all the stopmotions I have made so far. Well, there are probially more, somewhere. They're not in order or in a story of any kind.. But I thoguht the song fit.. and I hope you like it! It's kind of slow and choppy on flickr! So, it's better really! And just to let you know, I have no tripods or anything, I use boxes or set it on the floor.
The stopmotion looks weird on Flickr to let you know xD
