o gif em baixa tá embaixo...

excuse the poor quality. i could only spend so much time on this. i thought it was cute otherwise. :)

the bright green balloon popped right in the middle of this.

and its really hard to do a stop motion with a point & shoot. but i can do anything you dslr users can :)

and i LOVE my boyfriend for helping me, although he got frustrated because my camera takes a photo ever 10 seconds not 3, this required a lot of work.

and i got the idea to put it backwards from THIS. ahhh.

song is Happiness Runs - Donovan

First stop motion edit. Hope you enjoy!

This is a stop motion that was created by Clara, Hy, Amanda, and I. It was our first stop motion and is very very rough! we made it late summer actually however, have held off posting it due to thinking we were going to add a few more beginning and end scenes. However due to a loss of the movie maker files, we had to leave it as is!

anyway, the basic story is a girl wakes up in a nice dream world that takes many twists and turns, eventually she runs into "herself" and sees herself die, from there everything goes wrong!

the song is "arrival of the birds" by the Cinematic Orchestra

Day 197/365

Thanx for Viewin, Favin, and Commentin on my Stream!

Ha, this is TERRIBLE. Very uncreative. But it gets the point, I think.

(I did mix them well, I promisseee :D)

Yay, Batman's Alter Ego! You're first to choose a theme or prop or location for us all to use this week!

As Nick suggested, it'd be cool if you could do the draw next week so that everyone'll get a turn. That's no longer a hard act to follow, ahaa!!

The song is Nun by I Am Arrows. Just to brighten up the rather boringness of it all.

Happy times. Can't wait to hear your idea, Batman!! :D

Ahaa, this made explore! That wasn't quite the point of it, but I'm not complaining. :)

I've got a proper 'My Own Morph' kit on the way and will get some proper newplast rather than plasticine (or white-tac, which this is) I've loved doing these for years, and once I've got some proper stuff I'll spend longer on them, making smaller movements for more fluid animation.

I've been interested in stop-motion for years, probably since I first saw things like Morph and Wallace and Gromit. I'm interested in all kinds of animation really - I just love to create something from nothing - and hopefully someday I'll even make my own animated short film.

Song: Childhood 1 by Yann Tiersen

Kalaija told me about him and we picked the song together.

This is the first stop motion I've ever made : )

This view is a 180 turn from the oval bridge. How lucky to find a spot that is conducive to freezing motion. The waterfall was really strong this day in early September. I sat down on the grass as close as possible to the fall and used a tripod and a 105mm lens with a very fast shutter speed (1/800 sec). I really liked how this stopped the water so you can see the edges of so many individual streams. It was nice because I felt the spray. Most photographers seems to prefer the waterfall motion to be blurred so it looks silky, although I prefer to examine the details. (note: this is for a school assignment so I turned off comments but the same image was posted a few weeks ago)

Here's a series of 47 pictures of 3 seconds each combined to create a 3 seconds video. There is a 2 seconds break between each frame, meaning that it took nearly 4 minutes to create it :)

With Kim Henry in a cold night north of Montréal (near Tremblant). I used the frosted tube from lightpaintingtubes.com and a MT22c flashlight (ericpare.com/gear)

this makes me smile every single time i watch it. =)

Here is a set I've built for a young animator/film student, mate of mine. Such a pleasure to work with such a talented and driven film maker.

will tag him when i have permissions.

This was a set I made from lollipop sticks and plasticine.

This little guy has a battle scar by his tail...the result of a fight over the feeder. He kept looking my way because of his reflection in the window. At one point, he came and hovered right in front of me

Music: Chris Garneau - Baby's Romance

Yes, this was in Explore! :)

Decided to make a stop motion today... Hope you like it!

Puppetness. She's sitting on the ground through the whole animation so luckily the bottom part of her skirt won't really be visible.

Her belts and necklaces are just to be added now. Well, as are her hands and head... and accessories...

Her sleeves are more puffy than they look and they will be stuffed before the animation as well.

Her plan

its worth it yes.
