I liked a lot of the criticism I got from the Deleteme group on my last photo (even though it was deleted, it's definitely a better shot now than before), so I figured I'd post another shot I really like, but think could probably be improved.

 

4 Way stop in Leland, MS which appears to have been converted from a 4-Way signal and then the redlight moved to the center.

This new traffic signal is all wrapped up and waiting to be put into use. (032a)

I was browsing the upstairs section of a thrift store last Saturday when the view out the window caught my eye. Looking at the stoplight in this direction, going straight will keep you on US 250, and point you towards Strasburg. Turning left takes you up US 62 towards Navarre, Ohio.

Sitting in the turn lane after the light turned red, I sat back and enjoyed this beautiful view of the sun shining on the palm trees and highlighting the fresh snow on the San Jacinto mountains in my side view mirror.

 

It really is the little things that put a smile on my face at 6:15am

The current driver was training a new driver for the route.

Out with Pauls Pix 53 on Tuesday for a wander around the town of Battle, with the challenge of photographing abstracts.

 

I found it a tricky challenge, but did enjoy looking.

Okay. Maybe I photo-shopped this just a little... Not the clouds - the stop light.
