It was a short visit but it seemed to go well.

MacDill Avenue and El Prado Boulevard, car facing north.

Been a while.

Stoplight at the Harbour Way end of the Rumrill overpass.

Can you spot the pedestrians?

This was a fun picture to take. I used a tripod and a cable release opening the shutter just before the light changed from green to yellow. It took a couple attempts but the end result is pretty cool.

Monday Dive #2

I don't know why, but taking pictures out of the front car window always seems to help in my daily picture diary. This is on Dempster near McCormick in Skokie, Ill., on February 7, 2011.

For color, remove square portions on the top panel and replace with Neoball red (top) yellow (middle) green (bottom)

An interesting fish with the ability to change sex according to population density. These fish are born female and change to male as they mature. The color of their scales change with their sex- this brightly colored one is a male.

The red "we're stopped now" lights on the side of our subway cars in Toronto. You might also recognize that the subway has stopped from the fact that it's not moving.
