Tu roules, tu roules, et un moment tu cries « STOP Danou ! »
(Danou, c’est mon épouse, c’est elle qui conduit).
« C’est trop beau
L’apéro attendra. »
Et puis tu repars vite, la bise est venue. Glaciale.

It was an interesting afternoon of photography in Glacier National Park Montana as showers moved across the mountains which resulted in periods of rain alternating with glimpes of the sun. The light was interesting. This photo was taken when sunlight hit the mountains for a minute. This shuttle stop is located where The Going-To-The-Sun Highway makes a hairpin turn known as The Loop on the west side of the Continental Divide. On the Skyline in this photo Clements Mountain is on the right; Mount Oberlin is on the right center; Logan Pass in the left center and The Garden Wall is on the left side. On the mountainside beneath the Garden Wall, the trace of the highway as it climbs to the pass can be seen. Parking can be difficult along the Going-To-The-Sun Highway can be difficult during peak visitation. The shuttle system offers rides for hikers and others that want to park their car but get to other sites along the route.
I stopped by Mahoney's Garden Center on my way home today, and brought my camera inside. Abby was in her usual spot, a cardboard tray on the information desk. I took a few photos, then gave her good pats, focusing on the sides of her face. She's 13 years old, and spends her days patrolling the greenhouse area, and sleeping.

War is useless, war is pain. Everyday innocent people dying for what, for greed of one lunatic.
This is for the people of Ukraine but also for the people of Russia who don't know exactly what happen and their sons dying in the fields of Ukraine.
We are people, we are all individuals but we are one as humankind in this universe.
STOP THE WAR!

Stop that train I'm leaving
It won't be too long whether I'm right or wrong
I said it won't be too long whether I'm right or wrong
All my good life I've been a lonely man
Teaching the people who don't overstan'
And even though I've tried my bes'
I still don't find no happiness
Some goin' east
Some goin' west
Some step aside to try their best
Some livin' big
But the most livin' small
They just can't even find
No food at all
Stop that train I'm leaving
It won't be too long whether I'm right or wrong
Said it won't be too long whether I'm right or wrong
Stop that train I'm leaving...

It seems to be a theme lately. Busy and on the run. You take a pause and see that red light down there among the urban bustle and the fluttering snow. Regroup, rethink, replan.
Today, I think, is a good day for that. Sensational Saturday to you my friend.
I stopped by Wright-Locke Farm today to give the goats some old bananas, given to me by a convenience store. We had a snowstorm last night, dropping six inches or so.

Easing through the middle of West Louther and Cherry Streets, Norfolk Southern train H59 is cutting through the campus of Dickinson College on its way to the west side of Carlisle. The loads tonight are boxcars of beer from Mexico headed for distribution, some possibly coming right back here to be enjoyed on a warm Summer night like this.

How often do you walk down the street and see a classic car just parked up on its own? Particularly in Hong Kong, I can’t say I expected such a discovery.
A strange man wandered up to us whilst I was standing at the top of the Duddell Street stairs. I really hate when that happens- I (probably rudely) kept my eyes on the camera whilst Michael got involved with the conversation. It was rather garbled- I occasionally grunted a response but it was really hard to understand what the guy was saying. I don’t think he was altogether with it.
Back to the photo… when the strange man wandered off I crossed the road away from the stairs to get this angle. I was lucky when a minivan drove by, leaving these cool light trails that frame the Mustang. Whooooooosh!

I know, I know. Hong Kong, again! I’m not wealthy- I just keep spending all my money on going there. I don’t think they say ‘Fourth Times the Charm’ but this trip was just that - a success. For almost the entire time I kept my mental health issues at bay. It was a good trip. After three disasters - It is really nice to say that.

Parked by the side of the road in Nipton, CA, this automobile invites passersby to stop and look and buy some product from the Trading Post across the street. Nipton, CA was purchased last year by a legal marijuana grow company which plans to turn the town into a marijuana themed resort. As a result of the difficulty in raising capital to complete the development the marijuana company resold the town and it's 80 acres to a mineral exploration company which will fund the resort development by the marijuana company. Complicated arrangement which may work. The place looked as thriving as one might expect such a resort to appear.
Happy Saturated Saturday!
