Was on a walk with my pup and found this little stool, left for free in front of a yard, so it's at work now, clean with a new cushion.

GONE - This is a vintage elmwood stool which we have given the patented Like That One "Paint Everything Turquoise" treatment. If it ain't broke don't fix it, is all we're saying.
Seat 27cm x 21cm, hight 71cm.
In the centre of the image you can see the mediaeval ducking stool. Cheating businessmen and nagging wives were simply given a ducking, but it was also used to test accusations of witch craft. The 'witch' was submerged for several minutes, and if she lived she was thought to have used her powers to survive, and then she'd be burned at the stake. If she died, her family got an apology from the church. Sometimes you just can't win...........
This is a stool I've been working on the last few weeks. My goal is to assemble a stool together using thermoforming, and through this, eliminate the need for fasteners. By using what would normally be considered "consequences" of vacuum-forming, the undercuts and trapping of wood add to it's structure. Photograph courtesy of Kuan Tong.

Mosaic Kitty on top of a short stool. Made at the request of a friend who provided the stool and gave me free will to Mosaic whatever I wished. So happy to see her cat, Koji, enjoyed his new feline "friend".

My final product for "Product Design 3" - a course at IPD, NTNU. The assignment was to make a stool with a height of 420 mm and a seat area of at least 250 x 250 mm. The stool was to be made from solid wood - either oak or ash.
