Old sidewalks around edge of Central Park in Petersburg, Virginia; but someone, at some time in the past, put in these concrete steps to aid access to the path. The residents of the row of homes behind the camera are the likely culprits.
The original style steps supplied with the kit are much different than the rebuilt ones. I will have to scratchbuild new ones for my models.

First and foremost, Ron McPhatty for the instructions 🙏. He has put a lot of time in not only the instructions itself, but also to optimize the build, as to make it affordable.
It does not contain any discontinued or hard to find parts, and the colors are really straight forward - mostly black, light- and dark bluish grey.
Of course, a shout out to @benjamin_last who did the original artwork, and to @monsterpartywars who did some digital sketches for his amazing scratch build 1/144 models.

Left to years of neglect these steps and the gardens they lead to have gone into disrepair, hope they get back to the way they were in days gone by?
I was envisioning a clean shot of the Spanish Steps (sans human element). This is the madness I found when I arrived. I stood up in front of everyone and asked them to move, but they must not speak english because no one moved. Oh well, I think the human element is quite nice. Each face tells a story.

Steps leading from the small harbour in Fira to the town. Ther are numbers on stairs, so you can see how many of them are there...
Fira is the capital of Santorini, Greece, and the most important of all villages. It is located at the west side of the island and 10 km away from the main port, Athinios.
The town of Fira is a typical Cycladic village made of charming white houses with blue windows and doors, separated from each other by small paved streets. Many of its beautiful buildings were constructed back in the times of the Venetian invasion, including some blue domed churches and sun-bathed verandas. Below Fira sits the port. Looking down towards it, you are likely to see cruise ships whether at day or night. The path that descends steeply to here is usually full of mules carrying tourists. The other way of traversing down the side of the caldera is a cable car.

Went for an afternoon stroll along the south coast boardwalk to see if there was any thing to photograph. Came across these steps leading up to a private residence and I liked how they looked from this angle. I was shooting into the setting sun so there is the inevitable lens flare, but I don't think it is that noticable.
The steep Playfair Steps which go up and down from the plaza by the National Gallery and Royal Scottish Academy to the Mound, the great curving slope which connects the middle of the Old Town with the Georgian era New Town. With seven hills and a volcanic geology there is a lot of going up and down stairs and steep paths in Edinburgh! But who wants to live in a boring flat city when you can have all this topography and variety!?
