“Step by Step

All the happy Saints go marching in...

...If I’m late, don’t wait

Go on without me

I may tarry awhile

Cause I need to know

Before I go

How come the Devil smiles...”

Can't say this is a candid capture...and if it's lacking in cracking detail, that's ok!

"Thank you very much for all your faves"

Here's another unedited and unused shot up the South St. Vrain Canyon above Lyons while I wade the swamp for my Trumpandemic vaccine. All I have to do is drive at least half the state 4 times to get my jab. My bud down the street already got his first round but I fell into the black Trump vaccine (surplus) hole. None of the rest of health care in the US works either. The is across from the "Mansion on a Hill." I'm back at my South St. Vrain creek trek again looking for traces of tie hacking up the creek for delivery to the DP (and other) RRs at Lyons and points east. eDDie suggested that I look this place over. Below the stone shack might be the hewn tie collection pond on the South St. Vrain? This might just be extra strange abutments of a tourist bridge across the stream. Let's face it, the step building ended at the top step. The next step is a monster. Activity on the other side of the stream is highly suspect. Where could anyone possibly go after crossing? The next step is a monster! There are traces and hints below at the stream. With luck, Lyons Redstone Museuam and the library will open from the Trumpandemic and can field some answers.

With luck, the Trumpandemic will spare the world's more intelligent folks and whack the stompers. Isn't there a super bowl party near you this evening? Corona is still far from finishing it's job. Second wave in the US? Trump tried to hand over an economy that will collapse under Biden. His Trumperonies used slight-of-hand and US money to buy and prop stock market bonds and stocks to show fake market numbers. This is a shot pointed above the valley bottom below this major rock pile.

I can't quit on this scene quite yet without this slant view of the bridge? over troubled waters? Here's a last unedited and unused shot up the South St. Vrain Canyon above Lyons. If you crossed this bridge, I guess you had to turn right around and head back. I see no explanation of this abutment across the water. Any hints?

I am waiting for my jab after canceling one appointment while swimming the swamp for my Trumpandemic vaccine. All I had to do was drive at least half the state 4 times to get my jabs. The road (ahead) in its broadest sense...

I had a question from someone about some of my artwork, specifically WOOL, so here is a "step by step" on this drawing.

There is no set process for me when creating a drawing or digital painting. Sometimes I will draw thumbnails to work out an idea, sometimes I will just start drawing.

With digital drawing I use photoshop and a wacom tablet. I do not have any special brushes and use what ever came with the program. I tend to use only 2, regular round hard brush and a rectangular dry media brush. Wool was made using the dry media brush. Brush opacity for most of the drawing was set to about 30% to create more texture

I work with layers on all these digital drawings and WOOL had 12 layers in total. The number of layers will vary per piece.

For my superhero sketches I am drawing on regular cheap copy paper. I am not using an expensive sketchbook or special paper. I use what ever I have laying around which sometimes may mean the back of an index card or a blank 4x6 thermal shipping label.

I personally like softer leads so almost every pencil I own is B pencil. My favorite pencil at the moment is my chunky 6b prang sketching pencil.

My go to mechanical pencil is my 0.9mm pentel pencil. The lead softness is somewhere on the B side.

for erasers I use a Staedler mars plastic eraser and, very rarely, a kneaded eraser.

I prefer to draw on harder surfaces so my drawing surface tends to be either my animation disc or a clipboard.

Feel free to ask me any other questions.
