This Steiff teddy is over 50 years old but his eyes are still clear.
The hair has become a little thin but that's normal at that age ;-)
über 50 Jahre alt ist dieser Steiff Teddy aber seine Augen sind noch klar.
Die Haare sind ein wenig dünn geworden aber das ist in dem Alter ja normal ;-)
Wondering if anyone knows if this bear is worth holding onto - Or if I could bring it to a Hobby Store? Or on Ebay?
This little Steiff Teddy Bear is a new addition to my home! Today is a VERY hot and humid day. So I brought a lawn chair from the outside deck inside. He and his new Bear friends are all thrilled to be "lounging" together AND keeping cool!

Bobby and Mimmo are die-hard alpine skiing fans, especially of Marco Odermatt from Switzerland. Unfortunately, he didn't do so well in the last downhill, but the next day he won the giant slalom. Yay.

This is a 11 cm plush dog from Steiff I had as child.
Steiff "Molly" from the 1930s. Missing her left ear and therefore her Steiff button, but still unmistakeable. Dateable because she was given to a girl born in 1930 when she was a small child.
Tag on a Steiff Fuzzy Fox made in Austria in the 1980s. Taken with a Carl Zeiss Jena Tessar 50mm 3.5 lens at f/22 on an extension tube, mounted to a Canon SL1 camera.

For Toy Sunday: Meet The Toy
I'd like you to meet this shy little guy. He used to live in the Steiff forest but was captured by the raiders of ebay. He wasn't properly cared for and lost some of his fur. My mom rescued him and brought him home. Having too many monkeys already, she gave him to me so that I could give him lots of love and care.
I think this was my window shot for April, but I hadn't planned on posting it.
Posting it for s@ssyl@ssy, just for the sake of coincidence!
