The marquee of the old State Theater in Westerville, OH. Built in 1927, it stopped showing movies in the 1970s and was for many years a consignment shop, then a furniture store. Vacant since last year, it has recently been leased with plans to turn it into a restaurant by the end of the year.

Photographed using a Nikon F with a Nikkor 50mm f/1.2 lens on Kodak Vision 3 500T 5219 tungsten balanced motion picture film. A Wratten 85 filter was used to correct for daylight. Exposed at about EI1000 using Sunny 16. Developed by The Camera Shop in St. Cloud, MN using a modified C-41 process.

A Delaware State Police Dodge Charger travels up Route 13 during the funeral procession for Lt. Szczerba of the New Castle County Police Department. Lt. Szczerba was stabbed and killed in the line of duty while investigating a theft complaint.
This Dodge Charger was one of the first bought by the Delaware State Police. The clear lenses on the lightbar and swooped graphic were used during a testing phase, but neither made the cut.

During the 1950s and 1960s, Atlanta became a major organizing center of the civil rights movement, with Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., Ralph David Abernathy, and many other locals playing major roles in the movement's leadership. During the modern era, Atlanta has attained international prominence as a major air transportation hub, with Hartsfield–Jackson Atlanta International Airport being the world's busiest airport by passenger traffic since 1998.
Atlanta is rated as a "beta(+)" world city that exerts a moderate impact on global commerce, finance, research, technology, education, media, art, and entertainment. It ranks in the top twenty among world cities and 10th in the nation with a gross domestic product (GDP) of $385 billion. Atlanta's economy is considered diverse, with dominant sectors that include transportation, logistics, professional and business services, media operations, medical services, and information technology. Atlanta has topographic features that include rolling hills and dense tree coverage, earning it the nickname of "the city in a forest." Revitalization of Atlanta's neighborhoods, initially spurred by the 1996 Summer Olympics, has intensified in the 21st century, altering the city's demographics, politics, aesthetics, and culture.

The Georgia State Capitol is an architecturally and historically significant building in Atlanta, Georgia, United States. The building has been named a National Historic Landmark which is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. As the primary office building of Georgia's government, the capitol houses the offices of the governor, lieutenant governor, and secretary of state on the second floor, chambers in which the General Assembly, consisting of the Georgia State Senate and Georgia House of Representatives, meets annually from January to April. The fourth floor houses visitors' galleries overlooking the legislative chambers and a museum located near the rotunda in which a statue of Miss Freedom caps the dome.

Mall shooting in Columbia, Md. Jan 26, 2014 - Maryland State Police patrol the mall in Columbia, Md., after three were fatally shot inside.
The State Theatre, located at 703 S. Broadway in the historic theatre district of downtown Los Angeles, was built in 1921.
It was the first Broadway theatre to convert to Spanish-language films in 1963. It ceased showing films in the 1990s, and later became a church.
The 42nd Annual California Collegiate Open was held at San Francisco State University on Saturday 26th January 2019.

The Menominee River State Recreation Area is a state-managed protected area located in Breitung and Norway townships in Dickinson County and Faithorn Township in Menominee County, Michigan, southeast of Iron Mountain. It is 2,354 acres in area and is currently undeveloped. The park comprises a 145.35-acre tract along 1.5 miles of the Menominee River south of the City of Norway and the 2,208.83-acre Quiver Falls Tract along eight miles of the river farther downstream.

Not far down the road from DeSoto Fall State Park is a beautiful little park on DeSoto Falls. A dam at the top creates a small reservoir but below the dam is a natural waterfall.
