Static view of BO Tower in afternoon sunshine, taken with my new smartphone. I was on my way back from East Lansing and stopped to visit. Caught a Grand Elk train going by, but that was photographed on slide film.
The static aircraft display on Apron Bravo at Prestwick Airport as part of the Festival of Flight.
Seen here is Hebridean Airways BN-2 Islander G-HEBS, Eastern Airways Jetstream 41 G-MAJG and some private aircraft. Also note the Jet Provost.
The sculpture in the foreground is inspired by skateboard park culture. It was done by a guy named Mike Walsh who is a local Pittsburgh (where the show was) artist. The attention to detail in the sculpture is amazing, form the super clean welds to the incredibly precise connections of the marble slab to the steel to the grey blocks. It all works and looks great. I was and still am in awe of the piece.
In the background you can see my Green series pieces and to the left is my large flat black painting / installation. I wish I had a straight on shot of the black piece, it came out okay. It was pretty big though, I don't think the scale comes through in the photo...

A stereo still extracted from the film The Limits of Control (2009), directed by Jim Jarmusch.
NOTE: Look "wall-eyed" at the top pair or "cross-eyed" at the bottom pair to get a 3D image from the fused pictures. Another illustration.
Here's a helpful tip for viewing stereo pairs.

After frying a couple of (luckily inexpensive) devices, I realized I needed an anti-static wristband. Not wanting to spend the $$ for a "real" one, I figured I’d make my own. When I found this relic of my regrettably-emo high school days, I knew it was perfect!

{3/52: Makes me want to freeze time}
My daughter was laying on the trampoline spinning and I could hear the static building up. Grabbed the camera and laughing hysterically ensued. Wish I could freeze time so all these tiny things in life could make us laugh so hard!"
