This is what you call making a statement, as the Driver puts on a show for the paying public. I was covered in soot about 2 minutes after I took this, but who cared, certainly not me.

Unfortunately the change we need is to do away with the the two party system and unite together. A government that fights among itself constantly is not serving MY best interest.
Here is my simple easy lesson on politics. For this illustration I will use the top political office, The President.
Any resemblance to persons living or dead is possibly accidental.
There are approximately 300 million people in the USA. Assuming that just one percent of the population are intelligent enough to run the country that would give us 3 million people to choose from. Assuming only one percent of those have enough political experience to run the country we still have 30,000 to choose from. Assuming only one percent of those have the leadership qualities and moral character to run the country, will still have 300 people choose from.
Now scratch all those because anyone that intelligent is smart enough not to run for president and anyone with great leadership qualities won't bow down to their party so they won't get the nomination.
Enter your two candidates. Mr. Donkey Turd and Mr. Elephant Crap. (Sorry ladies they are both male)
Mr. D. Turd is fresh, brown and flexible.
Mr. E. Crap is old, white and hard.
Some say Mr. Turd is too new.
Some say Mr. Crap is too old.
Some say Mr. Turd is too brown
Some say Mr. Crap is too white
Some say Mr. Turd is too soft on the hard issues.
Some say Mr. Crap will crumble under the pressure.
Some will vote for Mr. Turd because he is a Donkey turd.
Some will vote for Mr. Crap because he is Elephant crap.
Some will vote for Mr. Diarrhea because they don't like Donkey or Elephants.
Some will just not vote.
But regardless of who wins
The Donkey Turds will try to stop any good that Elephant Turds try to do so that people won't start liking Elephant Turds.

Meanwhile the country goes down the toilet.

I always think the trees which surround Balvaird Castle look as though they are sentinels protecting it.
And often they outshine it!
What could be more fashionable than a single white tail feather ? It's a bold statement by any means, and I'm sure he's the talk of the bird world.
The white tail feather is actually Leucism which is caused by uneven distribution of melanin in the feathers.
light and color conspire to turn this empty cafe into a painterly scene, and reflections play tricks on the eye amidst the busy shelves and counter tops.
this image reminds me that we will die. very dramatic statement, i know. i think more specifically, it reminds me of the lives that human things have when people are gone. not in an anthropomorphic sense, but in the sense that what we leave behind tells a story of who came before, their decisions, their tastes, their creativity. their anxieties. their joy. their shame and pride. so many decisions we make as people seems to cry out with the primordial human motivation of “remember me!” because we know, with certainty, that one day we will be gone. yes, i know. it's an empty cafe.
ironically now we leave more evidence of our existence for others to find and catalog or categorize every single day, but it exists in the cloud, as code; it is esoteric, a permanent but ephemeral record that is shackled to and belched into existence by systems that will not outlast us. but to leave one's mark on the world in a way that someone someday can dust off or uncover or pass by and take a beautiful photo of...well that is its own special thing. look, i’m not saying this is the same as a photo of tutankhamun’s tomb. but then again, maybe i am.
Sometimes you must hand over your camera to strangers and ask that they get as much of your face in the shot as they can. Here we did just that and were lucky to have what you see.
Alina is as beautiful as ever, though the impact her eyes usually have over a man's soul is not recorded well in this image. I, Cristian Ioja, feel a day older and since I'm not approaching the age of 27, it does not really matter anymore. It is clear to me now that the shape a man is in, dictates how old he feels.
There are other considerations, Groucho was not the first to suggest it, but I shall keep those to myself.
