My friend Cari picked these two up at an office sale. She was so excited to find them, they gave them to her for free. Her fiancé is gonna be so happy when he sees them.

Here's one for the geeks out there. This is the model from the special edition bluray of the new Star Trek movie.

Lit with a single Yongnuo strobe above and to the right.

Model of the USS Excalibur, built from a USS Enterprise cutaway kit. Classic front view. The saucer was meant to be built in two separate pieces that came apart to show a "cut-away" view of the interior, but the halves fit loosely so they were cemented together. I did everything I could to remove that ugly seam, but it didn't quite work out.

The U.S.S. Enterprise, almost finished. There's some unevenness in the painting due to trouble with the first clearcoat. I plan to apply another one, hoping that will even it out.

A clay model on the Enterprise 1701-D that I made in 8th grade art class, 1992.

Diamond Select Mego Star Trek reproduction figures - aren't they fantastic!

Inside the Bethesda booth. Crews assemble the ceiling and put up demo kiosks while Parker, Charles, and Eric test out the build.

Last Star Trek Las Vegas appearance

Stumbled upon an action figure clearance sale at Suncoast this weekend. Besides, the Gorn -- the greatest Star Trek alien ever -- I also picked up an Orion Slave Girl and the Klingon Warrior Kor. Because, you know, they were a DOLLAR.

DESTROY KiRK !

Amusing sketch, and good original Star Trek costume.

Entering the Klingon section of the Star Trek Experience display in Las Vegas.

The Klingon D7 from the 1:1600 scale space ship set. Nominally a snap-tite set, I trimmed, glued and puttied (the green stuff) it so it would actually look nice. You can see the engineering hull and the other ships below. I'm thinking this'll turn out nicely. For comparison, the D7 I made earlier was 1/650 scale, about 18" total, this one is 5"-7"ish.

Destination Star Trek - 7 October 2016

These are the photos from the Julien's auction, of the original phaser rifle prop seen in the second pilot episode, "Where No Man Has Gone Before."
