At the starting line for the Girls' Varsity Race. It was the first race of the day, in near perfect running conditions.

This year my 100X will be to take shots within a 5 mile radius of my front door in mono. Every year on New Years Day my little town has a tradition of a bunch of fools running into the North Sea, this year the turnout for this was a grand total of 6! Here are half of them. It was very cold.

I just love African Violets! When I break a leaf off accidentally I have to see if it will start another plant. I'm compelled to do it!

Salsbury Point - Poulsbo, WA. Boats of every walk of life enter the Hood Canal here; from pleasure boats to commercial vessels, these launch ramps see it all. The floating pier stands between the pair of old and worn down asphalt ramps; but that doesn't seem an issue, as the remnants of the previous ramps lie strewn along the waters edge.
