During March, Comet Lulin will move through Cancer and into Gemini. In the second week of the month, the Moon will brighten the sky and make it hard to observe the comet. To see the map, view at the largest size.
The Kovac Planetarium is the world's fourth - and largest - mechanical globe planetarium. 22-feet in diameter, it displays all the stars in the northern hemisphere visible to the unaided eye. This planetarium is one of the very coolest things in the Wisconsin northwoods.
