Hello everyone!

Its been a while since I've last built anything due to a move to a new state, track, general life stuff related to the move, and studying for school stuff. So it has felt really good to just put the old bricks together again and to give it another go!

I don't have my photography paper anymore :( so sorry for the crappy background, it's the best I've got at the moment. :P

Anyways though, I love the Starcraft aesthetic, and the medivac is just really awesome.

Hope that you like it!

Constructive criticism and comments would definitely be appreciated!

Thank you and God bless!

You could end up with this for a dollar! O.o (If no one bids...)

This is one of the remnants of the StarCraft Collaborative. As this model ended up being too large for the scale ultimately chosen, it ended up standing alone.

Rory Swann, Artaris, Queen of Blades, Jim Raynor and Tychus Findlay

Today the StarCraft 2 esports finals took place and while watching I put together some fitting minifigures. (Knowing that nobody knows them)

With Tychus I tried my hands on a Marine for the third time already, so I tried something different with the shoulders this time. He is also smaller (better scaled to a minifigure) and way better poseable than the versions before.

Other challenge was Artanis. I tried a lot around with different heads and colours, but I like how it turned out in the end.

Finally, after a month of work, no less than three BL orders as well as many little transactions with other AFOLs, the Terran Battlecruiser is done. Biggest and most massive MOC I've ever built, this sub-SHIP is almost 80stud long and more than 60 stud wide. Based on in-game model, not the one seen in movies. Be sure to check WIP set to see how was it built!

I'm glad that you guys liked my previous medivac build, so I wanted to show you all my marine build! I used my Warhammer ultramarine template for this guy, and I'm pretty happy with how it turned out. I feel like the shoulder pauldrons could be more accurate, but at the moment this is what I've been able to come up with. I'd really appreciate any ideas on how to approach this aspect!

Anyways though, comments and criticism are always appreciated.

God bless!

This is a MOC by my colleague Luis Castenada. He built it a couple of years ago and it was featured along with my Warhammer Marine on the cover of Brick Journal.

This is the Zerg Hydralisk from the game Starcraft 2. I wanted to build this for a while but didn't think it was possible. The Infestor, Xenomorph, and Gyarados I made showed me the techniques necessary for this.

I still have a few more pieces coming in to finish this off. I'll post more poses and angles when they do (and after Christmas).

I really like building Zerg now. I have a Zergling coming up next. Mutalisk, Ultralisk, and Broodlord are also very possible.

Happy Holidays, Everyone!

Yet another Starcraft creation ;)

After 3 long years of hard work designing, redesigning and finally building, we are proud share our 'LEGO StarCraft' collaborative build, which was first shown at Brickworld Chicago.

Check out the main layout shot here!

We had a team of amazing builders from United States, Canada, Belgium and Norway to help to piece this all together. We hope you take a moment to look at all the detail shots, units, battles, and skermishes in the collaboratives group here:

Seriously, it has been a blast working and learning from all of the individuals involved. Without every last one of them, this wouldn't have happened. Thanks again, and we hope you've enjoyed this as much as we have! :D

Fun Facts:

The display is roughly 14 feet long. About 5 more feet than our original plans.

It took a whole day to set up this entire display.

There are far too many parts to count, but the landscape itself, collapsed down, takes up two 1.5 cubic foot boxes.

Not all our builders could make it to Chicago - so contributions were shipped in from San Francisco and as far as Belgium.

The smallest units were always the hardest to design.

The Humble Marine had the most number of design changes over 3 years.

Zergling or speedling from StarCraft.

I got a new computer and tried using GIMP to edit this like I do in Photoshop. Never again. I'm going to find my old cracked version of Photoshop and use that for the rest of the set.

This is my last creation before Brickworld. Time to pack everything up now.

Commission for Artifex Creation.

This is a commission. The Zergling is from the video game: Starcraft 2.

The zergling is oddly top heavy. Its tail is too small and short to keep it correctly balanced. I had to manipulate the limbs to push the center of gravity over the feet.

This will be the last Starcraft related build for a while.

Check out the main Lego StarCraft picture here!

As well as many more detail shots in our collaboratives group :D

Lastly, don't miss

the YouTube Video!

Spawn more overlords!

Can't have a Zerg force without overlords, so I set out to build one. This was probably the most challenging of all the StarCraft units and structures I have built so far. The organic nature of the Zerg coupled with the rounded shapes of the Overlord made this one particularly difficult to tackle, and it sat unfinished on my desk for quite a while before I finally worked out how to get it right.

Lego Technic Starcraft 2 Siege Tank. Video here: www.youtube.com/watch?v=cpT2eB25NPE&hd=1

In Starcraft II, the Zerg drone remains much as it was before; the only real difference is a graphical update. Drones are the Zerg workforce - harvesting materials and creating new buildings.

So yeah.. after a year, I've finally completed this thing! I started work on this over a year ago. Every few months I would take it out of the bin I tossed it into (along with the siege tank) and try a few things, but I could never get the arms and head the way I wanted. Now I'm finally satisfied.

After playing some old school Starcraft, I was compelled to make a small moc featuring the installation.

Gotta watchout for those gun traps, you never know when they'll pop up from the floor.

I've also been practicing my photography lately, with the thanks to Gimp for cleaning up those small annoying glints of light as well as enhancing the color.

My attempt to make ones of the most famous and recognizable Terran units from good old StarCraft. Apologies for not getting 100% accuracy, I just used pieces of several different frames. Articulation isn't the best part, bulkiness is :D

Starcraft II's AH/G-24 Banshee.

The Banshee is one of the new Terran units for the upcoming StarCraft II game. I've been wanting to make a StarCraft MOC for a while now, and as I was looking through the new models for the game, I finally decided to build.

I picked the Banshee because it is one of the few units I could build in minifig scale without being way too large. This model is a mix between the images I found on the official site as well as others which I believe are official as well.

This took me roughly a week to build.
