Had a trip to see the Leaning Tower of Pisa, very interesting

I thought the bright colours of the kingfisher contrasted very well with the black background

While the other photographers were shooting with the sun behind them, I turned around and shot into the sun. Beautiful spiders webs and not forgetting the beautiful feathers on the Short Eared Owl.

My first 'proper' experience of a Bittern (my first was just seeing its bum), am really pleased as it appeared twice within the hour! Taken in gloomy conditions.

The Jupiter Mining Corporation transport vehicle Starbug. Has been my longest running Lego project taking me over 5 years to complete. The model has a full detailed interior accurate to the TV show. With lots of features such as; a rotating airlock, working garbage cannon, sliding doors and even a functional vending machine. The front and mid spheres have one deck each while the rear sphere contains three decks consisting of sleeping quarters a toilet, kitchen medical bay and a artificial reality computer room. Not forgetting the large cargo bay.

I believe this is a yellowhammer that I saw today, the first time that I have seen one. I heard it calling and then turned round and saw the very yellow bird sitting on the tree!
