North Carolina's home for the alternative comedy scene proudly presents the Dirty South Standup Showcase — a weekly gathering of the top local and regional standup comedians.
Standup Comedy on THURSDAYS at 9 p.m.
Eat or drink at Southern Rail, Tyler's Taproom or another participating Carrboro restaurant on Thursday night, bring your receipt to the DSI Box Office and get standup tickets for ONLY $2.
New comics can audition at 8 p.m. (Email to sign up).

We don't have these anymore. Stand-up Meetings I mean.
I remember, the first company I worked for began every Monday morning with the entire staff standing in one huge circle around the boss, and explaining what they did last week and what they intended doing this week. This happened every Monday morning, come hail or shine - and all the folks just stood patiently for as long as two hours - their contribution to which was just a few minutes at most.
Maybe I shouldn't be so surprised... after all we are talking about Japan here.
But this stand up meeting is in Silicon-Valley... wonder what new start-up idea these trees are hatching! :)
