Ilford Selochrome 6x13cm stereo format glass plate, (box label dated to February 1948), shot using MPP Micro-Technical Mk VI camera and 16.5cm f5.3 Tessar. Stand developed in RO9 One Shot 1+100 for one hour.

enroute to Toronto from Gravenhurst on the Ontario Northland train.
Sadly the train service ceased operation in September 2012. It was a comfortable way to get up into northern Ontario.

I visited Nørrebro Station for the first time a few months ago. I immediately felt that it was a place with a lot of photographic potential... all those people in the run down surroundings... These images are from my second attempt to photograph there. I'm not completely happy yet, and will come back. But here is a slight preview of what I want to achieve.
These two images are inspired by similar pictures I've seen from public spaces. They popped up semi-unconsciously in my head when I first saw the station. I recall the specifics only one image which inspired me. It is to be found here on flickr, and was taken by James Maher who has written a very good book on street photography.

The "duck pond" - mainly occupied by Canada Geese. Supposedly they can shut down the blood flow to the feet and don't feel the cold - standing in water barely above freezing.

Stand developed 1hour, with inversions every 20 minutes. 1:100 R09 developer. Fixed with 1:4 Ilford rapid fixer.
Scanned with Epson v370. No post processing.
Ilford FP4 4x5, (box with hand written date 11/4/78), rated 64, shot using MPP Micro-Technical Mk VI camera and pinhole lensboard. Stand developed in R09 One Shot 1+100 for one hour.
