More form the expired roll damaged by the markings from baking paper. This one suffered from some leak as well. And I can't recall who that is... is this you? Let me know!

The tong lau corner tenements are disappearing, and the land-strapped community shows little inspiration to protect them. The old corner tong lau is fading away, and as each old building falls to "progress", a touch of the classical elegance of old Hong Kong goes with it.

A pattypan or scallop squash through the viewfinder of my Praktica FX3. Very excited to finally have some pattypan's growing.
This is a result from my first "stand development" attempt, following these instructions from Addicted2light (room temperature for everything):
Pre-soak = 3m (no agitation)
Developer = 45m (1m continuous agitation at first)
1st wash = 3m (changing the water every 30s)
Blix = 60m (1m continuous agitation at first)
Final wash = Ilford-style
Stabilizer = 1m (no agitation)

I'm trying different ways of scanning with my Epson V550 and post-processing in Lightroom. On my V550, I scanned the neg as a TIFF, at 48-bit colour, 2400 dpi, auto exposure and DIGITAL ICE on.

After a walk through the forest and getting to the edge of the mine, I realized that I laft the light meter in the car. Wouldn't be a big problem normally, but the light on that day was really strange, it was overcast but still rather bright, also quite hazy. A mobile light meter app came to the rescue, it supported my estimation.
I really wanted to get rid of the rest of this Retropan so I shot it on that day, even though with it's low contrast it certainly wasn't the best choice. Also, I decided to try stand development to reduce the monstrous grain of this film a bit, thus farther reducing the contrast. I think it worked. It is still very grainy but better. And I boosted the contrast a bit in Lightroom.

Julio was pissed that he couldn't get a raise for all the work he did to prep the meat for the rest of the day. He had continually asked for a raise because he barely had enough to pay for rent. For his last paycheck, he only had $1 to spare for his three kids. He had no choice but to take $20 from the register and feed his kids with whatever time he had at the restaurant. It was a stupid move to steal from the register with cameras everywhere. He even pissed off Tyrae, who was written up for being $20 short.
He only worked there at the restaurant, but he wanted to do what he can for his three kids. This was the last picture I took of him before I never saw him again. He will be missed. He brought a joy to work everytime you started a conversation with him. Working at the restaurant has gotten a lot darker since then.

Tri-x EI 1600 - Rodinal 1/100 stand developed
No doubt I'm enjoying the Leica with the tiny voigtlander 35/2.5, however the exposure on this frame was one of the better out of the M5 pushing Tri-X +2 rodinal 1/100 home stand development, a lot of the roll came under exposed, with uncomfortable amplified grain and loss of mid tone detail. Still getting used to the spot meter in the M5!
Think I'll meter off my palm until further notice...
